Personality

Shino is known to be very childlish and rash, he is also known to have an outburst of emotions such as anger, sadness. On the other hand, Shino is very energetic and rather loud, yet at the same time the boy is very naive and has a love for nature. Thanks to his personality, many people are attracted to him including spirits and humans. Shino is very straight forward usually talking or taking action without thinking which typically concludes with a scolding.Yet even though his exterior personality is happy and optimistic. He reveals himself to be quite burdened and knowledgeable of the events taking place around him; this is often seen when his thoughts travel to his immortality. He is shown to have a deep fear of the possibility of living alone one day.

My nightmare story

Since the birth, Shino was born the bead called "Devotion". His mother had died when he was only a little child; he lives with his father, Sousuke, Hamaji, and a bog named Yoshiro in Otsuka Village. The young Shino was made to wear a kimono 24/7 and on top of that he was very sick. The symptoms were puking up blood, bodily pains, and having a difficult time breathing; on top of that Shino had the measles. He still openly welcomed Sosuke and Hamaji into his home and treated the two abandoned children as brother and sister. Shino even comments that he and Sosuke are brothers when he sees Sosuke’s peony mark. Later on, the village is attacked and Shino, Sosuke and Yoshiro were gravely injured and are left to die. Rio Satomi appeared and offered Shino the blade Murasame in order to keep living. Using this power, Shino forces Sosuke to continuing living as well, unable to handle his possible death. But thanks to the new power from Rio, Shino never showed signs of aging, he was stuck in time..
