Hello! (= I'm Becca and though I love a good fanfic, writing them is second priority to my education, so during the school year, expect slow (if any) updates. That makes me a little sad inside, but, as my mom always says, "pay now, play later".

About Me

+I'm a halfie, but I don't have any Korean blood. However, I still lovelovelove the Korean culture overall and how k-pop fans can gather together and become friends to 'fangirl' and play with.

+I hate finding fanfics. Don't get me wrong, I love reading them, but finding one that I'll love is the most painstaking part of the process. It's less frustrating to read about my favorite character dying than to have to read Taemin act like he's on cute-steriods. What do I dislike about most fanfics? (also what I try to not do)

  • when authors write Taemin as a cute-monstor on steriods. That's not realistic even if you are writing a comedy.
  • when authors are super unrealistic in general. I know that these fanfics are unrealistic to start with (what teenager magically adds 10 years to their age and marries Yunho?), but I'd like a story I can submerge myself in without cringing at poison being thrown at my face by a PD, you know?
  • when authors write in multicolor font and glitter the whole story and don't seem to be content with the 30 pictures of their bias in the background, so they add 30 more into the story inbetween the story.
  • when authors do not have good grammar. I get a little sad inside. ):

+I write a lot of fanfics, but rarely...actually, to date, I haven't ended any fanfics. We'll see how this goes

+If you have any suggestions, I'm more than happy to listen, but please do not try to sound superior just because you've had an account longer. It'll make me frustrated inside. Grr.

+I'm going to try to add in some ways to learn Korean.

(= Thanks!
