I'm from Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. I started writing fanfics about seven years ago from different fandoms. The ones I enjoyed the most were K-pop, DMC and right now Wrestling, but I am a jumper, so I don't really "stay" to much time in the same fandom, just until I find a new one.

And I only write , slash and RPS. I write both English and Spanish.

I was supposed to be writing a my latest chapter but I got stuck and decided to go look at good old Wikipedia and see what did it say about 'fanfiction' for the 1000th time in the 8 years I've been in this world when I saw that someone had put this, which the last time I checked, was not there and I felt like sharing it with everyone around here.

Fan fiction is what literature might look like if it were reinvented from scratch after a nuclear apocalypse by a band of brilliant pop-culture junkies trapped in a sealed bunker. They don't do it for money. That's not what it's about. The writers write it and put it up online just for the satisfaction. They're fans, but they're not silent, couch-bound consumers of media. The culture talks to them, and they talk back to the culture in its own language.
