John 3:16

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Love is patient, love is kind. it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, It is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Separate from the World

1 John 2:15-16

世も世にあるものをも愛していてはなりません。だれかが世を愛するなら，父の愛はその人の内にありません。 すべて世にあるもの，すなわち肉のと目の，そして暮らしに関する自慢は，父のものではなく，世のものだからです。

Do not love the world or anything in the world.  If anyone loves the world, the love of the father is not in him. For everything in the world-the cravings of a sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has a does- comes not from the Father but from the world
