When I say I like writing, I mean I like fussing over my music, playing video games and doing pretty much everything that isn't writing when I should be writing. Before I know it, it's almost 3am, I'm writing like mad, suppressing the thought that I'll definitely regret this later on in the day.

My name, and other useless information.

My (totally fake) name is Gwen (inspired by Gwendolyn from Saga), and I'm basically a giant baby. I'm a soon-to-be college student, where I'll be studying film, classical civilization, sociology and art. I like to think my music taste is a variety of pretty much everything; in terms of K-Pop my favourite artists are EXO and 2NE1. Outside of K-Pop I enjoy Paramore, Twenty One Pilots, FKA Twigs, Slipknot, PVRIS, Purity Ring, Hands Like Houses, and several more.

My first favourite method of procrastination is watching TV, and I tend to watch Pretty Little Liars over and over and over (seriously, I caught up to season 5 in 5 days, and went straight back to the beginning and watched it  all again). If I'm not watching PLL, I'm probably watching Orphan Black, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, That 70's Show or Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

For an absurd amount of time I don't really want to admit to, I've been in love with horror films. It's slightly worrying, actually because I find it kind of disturbing that people find gratification through imaginary violence, myself included. I actually think about it a little bit too much. Anyway, some of my favourite films are The Babadook, Scream, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Donnie Darko, The Hills Have Eyes, Evil Dead, Insidious and Oculus. Because I don't want to go completely insane, I also enjoy films from other genres such as Shaun of The Dead, Wayne's World, Frank, Little Miss Sunshine and A Long Way Down.

VIDEO GAMES. I'm also really passionate about video games, to the point where I wanted to be a video games journalist for, like, a week. The closest I ever got to that, though, was when I wrote an essay for school about video game mentality (it was killer just so you know). Some of my favourites are The Last of Us, Telltale's The Walking Dead Telltale's Game of Thrones, Telltale's The Wolf Among Us, Dishonored, BioShock: Infinite, GTA, Far Cry 3/4 and so on.

I sort of want to be an artist when I get to the age where I need to make money and buy a house and stuff. Nothing too serious, I just want to do it in my free time while I work some mediocre job in a book store or a library or something.
