I don't hate them but I'm not a fan of them either. Like what others said. Their music just don't appeal to me. Not the type that I would like to listen to over and over again. I agree, different people have different tastes and loves different things.
I don't like their fans. Most likely, their first impression was not good. Their immature fans, just ticks me off.
I agree with Aznjen, the third generation groups got it easier because of their sunbaes from the 1st and 2nd generation groups.
For me, I liked the older generation groups.

I love EXO. I mean, I love the group and songs. But what really irks me are the EXO fans (not all) that cause trouble for them. But what really and I mean really annoys me is that if EXO fans have a different opinion about a group, they are immediately hated on but it is alright for other fans (of different groups) to bash EXO. I think it's fine if EXO isn't the band for you but to start hate and comment rude isn't fair at all. It's the same for everyone. As long as you stan a group, don't put other groups down as well. The only reason why EXO is getting hated on is because of immature fans.

I dont hate exo, I love them but their fandoms can get a little bit annoying..
I am not talking about the oversea fans, most of them are okay..
But the K-fans and the chinese fans sometimes went a little (when I mean little, I mean crazy) overboard.. Those boys need some rest and SM is not helping at all.. And somehow after all that commotion, SM had to shove them into your face with their promotions, seriously? They need a rest, I hate when something like DBSK or Hangeng situation happen again..
They need to realize that, I wish they will treat them better in the future and when I mean 'they', include the fans..
And some oversea fans are annoying too, some of them claimed they are EXO number 1 fan and called them your oppa and they shouldnt get married and whatnut..dude, you're just knew them since 'growl' era.. Some of them didnt even knew about the debut song yet they claimed they are the number 1 fan?

I dont know. But alot of it also goes to the immature young fans too.

I dont necessarily hate them, but i just dont like them that much. For a few different reasons, one: they never really appealed to me. Like when EXO first debuted they had released over 20 teaser images...and the amount of promotions was over the top, meaning too much. Coming for a SM stan, i think SM could have used a lot of that money for more of their senior groups. Also, their songs and style dont really appeal to me. I usually love the songs that SM produces, i am a big fan of Super Junior and SHINee and TVXQ songs...but EXO i dont know it's just not my style i guess...EXO songs are composed from a different person other then Yoo Young Jin and some of the other popular composers of SM. So im not a big fan of their songs. Their voices...i find them unique but nothing really made me like them that much. Like my first Kpop songs was actually not a kpop song but was a kpop group it was Super Junior M's Perfection, when i first herd it i didnt know who the group was at all, and the first 30 seconds i fell in love with the songs and the voices. So EXO doesnt appeal to me like that. Moreover, i have to say they are completly overratted, yes i know they worked hard and desrve the fan....but like so does every other kpop group, they all work super hard, so shouldnt all kpop grounds be popular too? Also, their popular...they are a fairly new group yet they gained popularity fast. But honestly, all the new groups coming in, i guess they are like the 3rd generation kpop groups (WINNER and GOT7) i feel like they all have an easier ride to fame. Because really the 1st generation (SHINHWA, HOT, SES, Baby VOX, Sketchies, Koyote etc.) introduced Kpop to korea and made it popular, the 2nd generation (Super Junior, SNSD, 2PM, Big Bang, 2NE1, Wonder Girls, etc.) made Kpop extremly famous worldwide. The world today is really getting into kpop especially after PSY, so i feel like EXO and the newer groups have it easier because the 2nd gen. made a bridge of fame for EXo and such.

many of exo fans is immature because so many of them is about 12-14/15 years old. like seriously, I'm a fan of them too, (I'm 20 btw) but they annoyed me too. they doesn't have any respect. lol. But I don't want to mind them though. and... if you saw a few annoying rumors/comments bashing your bb/gb, especially they exo-ing there. it's haters who did that. sorry, but in my exo-fangirling circle there's non of us bashing other bb/gb.

I don't hate on any kpop groups. They all worked hard to get to where they are today. I'm not going to hate them because of their fandom, company, popularity, or concept.

If I like a group, I like a group for their music.

If I don't like the music and concept of a group, I move on. I don't spend my time hating on them.

I believe some people don't like EXO because they are too in your face. Everywhere you go, there's EXO. Every site, there's EXO. And I mean, they're usually in your face.
When EXO debuted, it was just a boom of them. I mean, what happened to other groups? Some people who only seem to stan them, forget about at least respecting other groups and noticing them and then their immature fans put down other groups, creating a rift between fandoms.
I mean, Taeyang copied Growl? Please. Suju had done the concept before (I think it was It's You, idk, bad memory), then Big Bang, then EXO (as well as loads of artists in between). It's that kind of thing that creates a bad name for a group.
Fans /are/ a reflection of a group, no matter how you see it, and EXO will still gather hate from the same type of things unless the immature people pull their shiz together.
Honestly, EXO's sasaeng situation didn't earn them hate. It earned them sympathy and recognition. It was the immature people in the fanbase that got the hate.

For me, I like EXO-M. I'm not so keen on K. Idk why, I just can't take to them. I have moments where I like them a lot and moments where I don't. I think it's because I don't like Chanyeol that much. And I don't mean personality or whatever, but the way he acts, he just acts too in your face on camera and I don't like watching that kind of thing. I can't forget his moving around to be caught on camera.

People hating because of EXO's popularity are just people who are pressed. I mean, EXO are popular, what can you do about that? People like them. Whether it be for their looks, their music, or - as for me - for a certain memember coughsjongdaecoughs ilikethekidifundhimdelightfulandhilarious

Hating on EXO for their music is reasonable, but like all groups, you're bound to have a song you like. I don't trust anyone who doesn't like Peter Pan.

Yeah, I agree with love_chanyeollay. Although, there are some artists/groups that I don't particularly like just because of their song genres. As for EXO, I love the members. They're all funny and cute in their own way. But some of their songs and their overall concept don't really appeal to me.
