It would be hard for Yooae to focus on going over the lesson with Myungsoo since being this close to him would distract her. Myungsoo is popular to be called out for some "engagements." He is nice to offer to walk her home. xD Their confused expressions makes it one priceless shot. Although it's a candid shot for a first try in the photo booth, it must be something worth treasuring to Yooae. This commemorates their experimentation with the photo booth. It's unlikely that Myungsoo would lie to Yooae since he's a really straightforward person. They have been friends for a long time. That's how far he cares about her. So, that puts them in the friendship zone since Myungsoo hasn't given any indication of liking her as more than a friend. It saddens Yooae that he unknowingly rejected her without being aware of her feelings toward him. This must be what unrequited love feels like. She's too upset with a heavy heart to talk to Airi after recalling the moment when Myungsoo asked a question about her friend as though he's interested in her. If Airi is actually Myungsoo's girlfriend, he would've known about her likes and dislikes already after dating her for a while. Otherwise, he wouldn't have bothered to ask Yooae such a question. Since she's worried about Yooae, she's bound to check up on her at school to find out what's wrong. That's what best friends do out of concern.
I don't like cliches either. I've grown tired of them after reading lots of fanfics over time. It gets to be the trend in the usual fanfic storylines nowadays of the romance genre. There are some who can pull it off by putting their own creativity and originality into the story. What may appear to be cliche at first can turn out to be so much more than that once you read further.
Bringing Woohyun into the picture could brighten things up. He always appears cheerful in public. Plus, he's full of good humor. He may be just what Yooae needs to cheer her up and help bring her out of her shell. Yooae could find a friend in him. There's also the possibility of more drama coming that complicates the situation. One thing that I'm wondering about is how Yooae came to be friends with Myungsoo.
The spectacles that people wear to compensate for their imperfect vision are just called glasses.
