Chapter 83: So I FINALLY got around to finishing this story and I was not disappointed at all. Life's been crazy lately and I am definitely procrastinating right now but lets just pretend that I'm taking a well deserved break after working hard all day. Anyway, to the point;
The way you construct your characters and the world in which they live makes everything seem so very colourful and tangible. Where other stories can make the reader feel very disinterested and removed from literally everything that is going on, you manage to find a way to include the readers in the action. They feel, or at least I felt, that I was experiencing everything with Yeonhee and I loved it. I find that even published authors can have trouble with immersing their readers in the world they have created and it's really fabulous to be able to read an original story that is so well written. It's truly an honor. The only thing I thought was a bit annoying was the pacing of it in certain places. It just dragged a little bit or maybe that's just my easily bored and distracted nature, who knows. But honestly that is my only complaint and apart from that it was an absolute pleasure to read this story and I look forward to your future works.
Chapter 72: I read the authors note and I just wanted to say thanks for making readers notice the hurricanes! I live in Miami in like the worst place in Miami to live in a hurricane (on a barrier island which is literally the first one to get evacuated) though I actually left to Mexico because I had family there.... of course though an hour after I got to sleep after the airplane the siren sounded because of the earthquake and I somehow slept through it all thinking the rickety bed was the one shaking!
Chapter 83: Finally caught up! Well more like finally finished reading the whole story! Honestly I thought it was really fast that they were already getting married when Yeonhee and Yixing have known each other for only a year. I personally wouldn’t marry someone after only a year. I guess everyone is different and who in the world wouldn’t marry a prince? Especially when the prince is Yixing :’)
I’m also curious about Mihae and Chanyeol. It seems they really close and possibly dating. I hope they are. I ship the two :3
It’s been very enjoyable reading this story and relieving some stress with some cringe worthy scenes *cough*theproposal*cough*.
On to Borderlanders! Which is probably already almost completed if it isn’t. And the Name-Seeker! Last story I read with Chanyeol as a main was discontinued :’(
