Asianfanfics is awesome. Compared to anything.

I just wanted to say that this website including the authors are awesome. There are so many brilliant stories, nice authors who write because they love kpop like everyone else and dedicated readers.
I recently got into wattpatt and have a hard time adjusting. Finding well written stories, with charming characters is quite rough on there. I bet there are really good authors too, but not on the same level as my favourite authors here on/in asianfanfics.com . Therefore I just wanted to appreciate aff(and tell the world)
Thanks everyone! You are quite amazing.

PREACH IT!!!!! The truth. AFF is better than 'the mass' Wattpad. People go there for subs. If you are a true writer who writes for the writing, you go on here. Just saying. Ever since the karma shops were forbidden like 40% went to Wattpad for the attention. Ya'll know its true. And yes: Of course there's people who genuinely like Wattpad, so there's that too. But you get my point.

@ohtoni Yup, you're lucky!! For me, it's not hard to meet readers here because I reply back to comments and we hit it off. Like I said, it all depends on the person, and there is nothing wrong with that! :)

It surely is!!!! I actually prefer AFF than Wattpad to be honest. Maybe because it centers kpop and also because of the awesome authors here. I also like the website's interface more. Very simple yet interactive and more understandable.. so yeah, i so agree that aff is daebak! ^^

@ohtoni I think it depends on the person because I've used Wattpad before and I didn't really like it. Some people were so rude, so I left. I still use it from time to time, but it's not that great for me. So yeah, it's all about the person.

i neever understand when ppl say this because I've met the most wonderful people on Wattpad and i love Wattpad so much.

AGREED 200% !!! It's so hard to find a certain story in Wattpad, and when I found the popular one.. the quality isn't the same as AFF. Like, how come a scripting-dialogue book could get so many votes? The story itself was quite.. horrible though. There are some good amounts of underrated stories with a better quality too, but it's so hard to find them. And the people there are cold compared to AFF. I'm being savage but that's what happens to me.

Aww, you're so nice. for me, what made me stay in AFF...simply the layout that feels very userfriendly n simple n comfy. i often feel tempted to migrate to a diff site since it's hard for me to find things i like to read here especially when it comes to diversity in fanfics/groups or pairings used in fanfics(maybe i just didn't find the 'great' fanfics since they all involve groups i don't want to read about lol)...but the layout at other sites aren't as comfy as here...also...i like how i can blabber everyday in my blog, unbothered since there are a lot of silent friends/readers here...well, the silent reader thing is annoying in fanfics(though it's not like i have any readers either way lol), but in blogs...it's not bad...it's a pretty chill place to just sit around chilling n blabbering for me...xD

I agree with you. I love AFF and I can never see myself ever permanently leaving this website. I post some of my stories on AO3 and the feedback is amazing, but it just doesn't feel like the home-y and warm and welcoming vibe like AFF. I see people say AO3 and LJ are better communities, but I would have to disagree because you have to be like "famous" in order for most of your stories to get known, and on AFF, no. I'm not very popular here, but I have a decent following and they love my stories. Some say AO3 and LJ you'll aways find the best quality fan fiction, but I would have to disagree too because I feel like they are all the same in the sense of quality fan fiction. All three have good and bad fan fiction, and I see so many people giving AFF writers so much crap because they are too cliché, like what do you expect? Most stories here are based off dramas and mangas; I, myself, use to saw cliché fan fics were awful, but some of them are actually good. People should have the right to write whatever they want, and if you do not like it, then don't read the story, it's that simple. So yeah, AFF is the best for me and I don't ever see myself ever leaving because I've been a member since July 2012, and it's the best community I've ever been in. I feel so loved and welcomed here. And yeah, AFF has some flaws, but I still love it here.

The sense of community on AFF is so nice, I agree. ^^
And also - as damnationSUruck said; I have also read fics that are far better than published books. There are really high quality literature in the fanfic community. ^-^

I will agree.
I've read better stories here on AFF that are fan fictions than an actual published novels. Just goes to show that fan fiction authors are so dedicated and really take the time to churn out quality work, always.
I've personally been reluctant to start up an account on wattpad. I probably read a few odd ones there (or attempted to anyway), but I it just doesn't seem as homely as AFF does. Which was what led me to making an account and enjoying my time here. The sense of community is refreshing and enjoyable.
