Which Theme do you Prefer Writing?

Hey guys
I wanted to ask my fellow writers here on aff
Which theme/genre do you prefer writing between the two? Angst or fluff?
For me, I LOVE writing fluff, especially if I'm stressed, but angst makes me all riled up...esp if I get to kill someone, or if there's a bad relationship between one of the characters...and I also like to make people cry Han Rivers...and for me idk why but my angst fics get more comments than my fluff fics, even tho they share the same amount of subscribers...Idk why...maybe angst evokes more feels and thoughts from readers as opposed to fluff? Anyways, what's your thoughts??

How about both? Haha, I enjoy all kinds of polar opposites, although it's very dependent on my mood.
I draw a lot from inspiration. In fact, I rely heavily on it and I pay careful heed to my emotions when tackling art, be it drawing or writing for me. I'm currently juggling a spectrum of genres in terms of the few stories I've got going, and just the other night, I happened to look out the window on my left while at the computer and was rather captivated by the moon. So much so that it kindled a great deal of thought. It sort of threw me into this train of pondering, and I had to stop whatever video I was watching and write while the emotion lasted because it was too precious of a thing to let pass. When I'm feeling content and am inspired by the people around me though, comedy and fluff it is!

I love to write both but angsty comes out better to me than writing fluff although nowadays my readers are liking my fluff over my angst. I guess it's because they are so used to me writing angst that when I do write fluff it comes out just right for them.

Even if I start something with fluff in my mind. It ends up being angst or bitter sweet. And sometimes(very few) it falls more on crack side than fluff. Most of the times I have no control over the fic but the basic idea/plot. As for comments.. most of my readers are silent ones. And I dnt have a problem with it, though reading comments abt the fic makes me feel a bit more appreciated.

Psychological themed, angst-y slice of life is my favorite. I've always done better with "dark" themes and heavy topics rather than cute fluffy, light hearted stories. I love to add as much realism as I can, and Ialways felt as if fluff doesn't have it. So I can't write it, but if I'm in the mood, I'll look one up to read once in a blue moon.

depends on the genre and the setting of the story I'm writing tbh. lately it's been angst but that's because of the setting it takes place in. angst with some fluff to wane off the angst i guess [even if it's by a little bit]

Hm, a great and hard question for me.

When I got the mood, I will do fluff. But if I am bored, I will do angst (´∀`) I don't know cause both genres are quite popular and really good to write. Besides, I wrote both genres too. So it's kind of complicated for me cause I LOVE both of them . (≧∇≦)/❤

I prefer writing angst I think. Heavy angst. But then again, I also really enjoy writing domestic fluff. I think I like domesticity over angst though. But angst is nice to write and I really do enjoy that. Idk. Both. It depends on my mood.
