Korea is at war with Japan. A wounded warrior, Jung Taekwoon, travels back to the capital to tell of his company's defeat but collapses on the dirt road. He awakes to find himself in a small village where he's nursed back to health by a young man named Hakyeon, the caretaker of the village's orphans. Love blossoms between them. Will they have their happy ending? Or will the war claim their lives?
