standing at 175 cm and weighing 69 kg, seohan might seem a bit chubby at first glance but he's not. he's quite muscular, actually, due to all those years of taekwondo and working out on his own. possessing a sharp gaze and an angular face, alongside a jawline that you could cut yourself on, seohan is part of the "looking-scary-until-they-smile" line alongside jiwoo and yong. he has a resting face and that looks scary, because you might think that he's hardcore judging you but he probably has baby shark stuck in his mind again for the seventh time this week.

he has pretty average hands but he is a veiny bish. the "one paper cut and he's out" veiny, according to kim haedam. two things that he's definitely been blessed with are a good sight, meaning he doesn't need glasses or contacts and if he does wear them, they're non-prescription, and nice teeth. this boy never ever wore braces in his life. and that's saying something. he has two piercings, one on each lobe and has no tattoos but definitely wants to get one in the future.

overall, he looks younger than he is. people definitely think he's one of the new members and are shook when they learn that he was in the original lineup, but once they see his skills, they understand.

PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION　
EVERYBODY BLAH BLAH　the first thing people take notice of about seohan when they first meet him, asides from his smaller than average height and his resting face, is how hardworking he is. this kid could literally spend the entire day in the dance practice room, practicing mikyong's choreography, sleep in one of the empty studios and then come back to the practice room the next day, limping because of his knee, puffy eyes and circles darker than his coffee under them. if he's given a task, he will do it no matter how long it takes him. like most of his peers, he's also a social butterfly and is very happy and smiley most of the time, except for when he's hyperforcused on his task. he's not afraid of introducing himself first, sending the first text, asking to hang out first and whatnot. it's not hard to understand that seohan is a confident person, he basically oozes with it. he believes in himself very much and this often plays into his advantage when it comes to things that require confidence, like dancing or improving on something. of course, being confident is not enough when it comes to those things i mentioned. you also need patience, because it doesn't come to you in a day. and patience is something seohan has tons of in his system. he could be stuck in traffic for hours but still won't honk, like what some people seem to do.

THEY TALK A LOT, BUT I'M FINE　seohan's love language is physical touch, so not only does he crave for it but he also loves giving it, either for fanservice or for genuine affection. his favorite form of skinship has to be backhugs though, receiving or giving, he doesn't care. he may look tough on the outside but this was how he raised himself to be throughout the years. he's actually a very soft boy. he just wants affection and to be loved. seohan has great attention to detail, which shows itself clearly in both everyday situations and in performances. this is one of his habits, focusing on even the smallest details. while this is a good thing, this can also have negative consequences as well, as he's often so into details that he may forget about the overall picture. he's also a savage, which is a trait he got from his sister. he can roast you like there's no tomorrow.

Y'ALL CAN BLAH BLAH　seohan is very private, he'd rather live his own problems in himself rather than talk to someone about it or find a way to let it out. and he's also stubborn, like maybe even more stubborn than yong. if he has a plan, he'll carry it out and basically plug his ears to any opposing comments. he can be very petty as well and basically act like a child. let me just explain this this way, his sister seojin once left him on read for an hour accidentally and in response, seohan left her on read for an hour and a minute. also let me tell you something, that boy is indecisive as hell. this is the libra in him. since he's always open to trying out new things, for example if he goes to a café. his usual order in that café would be iced americano. but there's a new chocolate hazelnut macchiato that looks so good and he'd love to try it. so he's usually caught up in that sort of conflict.

BACKGROUND　

"IF YOU CAN'T FLY, RUN'"　na seohan was born on october 4, 1999, in yongin, south korea. his family consisted of his parents na heejun and jo sojin who owns a dojang and is a housewife respectively, and an older sister named na seojin, who is a professional taekwondo athlete. the na family come from a long line of taekwondo athletes. heejun and sojin, and their parents, were taekwondo athletes as well and they met in a tournament, falling in love and eventually retiring after getting married. seohan himself started doing taekwondo at the mere age of 4.

"IF YOU CAN'T RUN, WALK"　seohan was a good student in school, his favorite class being (surprisingly) mathematics. he was always great with numbers. while they knew that seohan was going to be a taekwondo athlete like them and seojin, heejun and sojin wanted seohan to be good in academics as well. so seohan got through kindergarten, elementary school, middle school and the first year of high school managing his studies and taekwondo practice, going to school in the morning and training in his father's dojang afterwards.

"IF YOU CAN'T WALK, CRAWL"　at the age of 16, seohan was training for a tournament in his father's dojang, with his father observing him. he jumped up for a roundhouse kick and found himself on the floor after hearing a loud "pop" in his left knee, with his knee swelling quickly. he was taken to the hospital, where it was discovered that he tore his left acl and needed surgery for it. so, came the end of seohan's taekwondo career.

"TODAY WE WILL SURVIVE"　 seohan was devastated. taekwondo had been a way of relieving stress for him and he certainly didn't want to quit. however, as he was recovering, he found another way to relieve stress: singing. he would be singing while doing stuff around the house (stuff that wouldn't strain his knee too much obviously since he was still recovering) and he finally discovered his dream; he wanted to be an idol. his parents were initially against it because they knew how hard the entertainment industry was and they didn't want him to get hurt. but once they saw how passionate seohan was about it, they accepted it and allowed him to audition to fantagio, becoming elated when he passed and allowing him to go to seoul.
