→ Grows up in a lower-middle class family. Born in Mexico City to a mexican father and a korean mother. Occasionally financially unstable, but they make it through. (Lives in Mexico for most of childhood before moving to South Korea because his mother has found new work opprotunities to support the family??)
→ Has faced some form of discrimination all of his life even while living in Mexico, but it seems somewhat more apparent when he's into this new culture at a young age (isn't able to speak Korean fluently until his mid-teens) He's extremely lonely during this time, but finds ways (music) to occupy his time because he doesn't think it's worth it to be so sad all the time.

→ I think that the survival show that Jungwon participates in will be Boys24! (thank goodness the dates match up well lol) Eliminated in one of the early episodes (ep ~3). it was an extremely cruel elimination because it was the "masters" of the show that chose the bottom 2 that the rest of the unit members would have to choose between to eliminate. In Jungwon's case, he had been chosen by the Masters alongside the leader of the Unit. The leader had immunity, and without being able to discuss between the two, Jungwon had been eliminated LIKE THAT. It was especially jarring because Jungwon had actually been doing very well (not that he was noticed due to have little to no screen time at all) It's shortly after the show that BBC entertainment discovers him. yes, during the show Jungwon did notice mnet's infamous racism at play

✧ [7:00 AM] Arrive at the company, check in, and head straight for the practice rooms. Find and settle down in his personal work room with his music equipment. Begins work.

✧ [12:00 PM] Break for lunch. Sits with other Solis Members or alone in his work room. Brush teeth afterwards. If he finishes eating early, he takes a short break and sits somewhere comfortably with his earbuds and eyes closed.
