Semi-formal update (I'M STILL ALIVE)

Dear inexistent readers of my stories and blog,

Thank you for still being here despite the author being rude and y with my stories being not read anymore because they're boring- (I should really stop quoting the hate anon on CC-)

So, for the recent updates, I had a meeting with editor-dono, and we agreed on splitting the latest chapter draft into halves because it will be too messy if I changed the locations anywhere in the main focus of the chapter. It's also why there's no update yet, and yet I have an update for that other confusing piece of (s-word) ... work I have on my ongoing stories.

Now, the particulars:

1. The latest chapter (main focus) will be about this member whose life and struggles have never been explored below surface area.

2. The other half (the not-so-main focus) is about the other people's activities as the main focus happens.

Now why is the main focus part of the latest chapter important? This rude and y- (STOP-) I mean, this writer's [because hate anon from cc told me I don't qualify as an author because I don't succumb to peer pressure from readers-] (PLEASE STOP, I BEG OF YOU-) favorite tactic is domino tactic, and it means I will stir another set of problems in the future chapters. It is unlike the latest published chapter's intensity though. I just do not have that kind of ability to stir problems like this.

Rest assured, the delay means I am taking the fic seriously and plan to write it without half-assing anything. Faster updates do not mean quality. So, if you plan on asking for weekly updates, I am afraid I will have to make you try writing the whole chapter just so you understand MY struggles.

Writing the fic is not only mentally taxing but also emotionally taxing. I try to feel the characters' feelings so I could project them as accurately as I could so you guys might be able to feel even a bit of the characters' feelings (yet, I still fail and for that I'm sorry). So, when you guys tell us that we should release updates faster even though it is nigh impossible, I feel that you are undermining our suffering, efforts, and feelings. Not only that, I have to consult my busy editor who actually has a real life work and earn real life money just to deliver these chapters to some ungrateful folks out here, who are not even paying me a real life cent for the efforts I give while writing this fic. We also have responsibilities in real life, and we are just asking for your kind understanding so we can release chapters without feeling unappreciated with your comments.

No one is going to pick a hobby that doesn't give real life money over real life responsibilities that cost thousands of real life money.

Whoa... That went from zero to a hundred real quick, didn't it?

Anyway, that's all I wanted to tell you guys. Sorry for being serious and oh, stay cool.

Regards,

The Rude y Author whose works aren't being read anymore
(WHAT THE- I TOLD MYSELF TO STOP QUOTING HATE ANON ALREADY-)

P.S. Oh wait... She told me I'm not an author because A REAL AUTHOR FOLLOWS  READERS' OPINIONS. What am I then? :O

P.P.S. I have practicum this summer, but I'll try writing a bit.

P.P.P.S. The original draft of this blog entry is too sarcastic so I had to erase everything and rewrite again. I had to tone it down because some people are well... very exceptional in the feelings department.
