the moon twins has always known dancing ever since they were little, as their ballerina mother wants her daughters to follow in her footsteps to becoming a world-renowned ballerina. but after a few years of listening diligently to her mother, moon nari has other plans for herself. she started watching other people dancing other styles in her mother's studio and started imitating it. one of the dancers noticed and started teaching young nari the movements, in which she picked up very quickly and danced joyfully. she started to do it more often that she starts to do even in her ballet classes, baffling her mother and elicit a scolding. nari grew weary of ballet and told her mother she wants to do other styles. she starts taking classes in other styles from mother's studio. what drove her into idol life is just pure curiousity, as one of the attendants from her hip hop class wants to go on an audition. nari decided to check what's up with that and audition. she wasn't particularly ambitious about it and didn't expect anything from it. but to everyone's surprised, she got accepted. overrun by adrenaline and excitement, with her mother's blessing, the pure and innocent nari went to y.i. entertainment to start her new life

twin sister / 문솔리 moon solri (fc; 9muses sojin) / 24 / former idol, actress and music bank mc / the only reason why solri was able to become an idol is because her mother told her to follow her twin sister to audition so she won't feel alone. but solri ended up getting accepted into y.i. entertainment as well and debuted with a group just a year after sowon debuted. the group did not bode well and solri was highly dissatisfied by the mistreatment given by the company, so she decided to leave. solri redebuted as an actress under c-jes entertainment. their relationship with each other is not as close as people would expect them to. her mother has always force the more introverted solri to follow nari everywhere around and protect the sensitive child, whilst she wants to do her own thing. she doesn't hate her twin but they don't exactly have a tight knit sisterhood, their relationship doesn't go more than just hugs when they pass by each other, general conversations and introducing each other while the camera is around

ex girlfriend / 福永 アニタ fukunaga anita (fc; gwsn miya) / 26 / dancer & dance instructor / the love of her life, and probably the only person she'll ever love. anita came during the time of nari was still secretly dating hoseok. anita is a warm and gentle person, vastly different from the likes of nari. they work closely together when nari started her residency in 1million and eventually hanging outside of work. anita loves to take care of her and be there for nari in general as nari seemed to be in a difficult position. anita helped reassured her when nari discovers that she's aual and helped her with her craft. they started to have feelings for each other and nari fell in love with her, once again she has to date her in secret. it was all well and they maintained a loving relationship, until dispatch caught the both of them on a date. fortunately a lot of people just thought of them as great friends, unfortunately now they must pretend like there's nothing going on between them. and it was hard for anita, as the secrecy and them pretending wasn't enough for her. so she made nari choose; either nari proudly declare to the world that they're dating or they'll break up

2007 - 2009 (training); nari was very ecstatic just being there around multiple talented people, she was especially excited learning from the people around her. the other trainees was genuinely amused by her excitable and innocent nature, she was easily liked by them. but they warned her that not everybody is going to like her because in a way, it is a competition for them. and the trainers can be quite harsh on everyone, even towards people that has a likeable personality. nari soon realised that she's not just there to have fun, as multiple scoldings are given to her when she doesn't take things seriously. she started to dislike it, she just want to be there to have fun. but the determination of the other trainees puts her to shame, and seeing how serious people are about this, nari decided to take even more serious. by 2008 she was put in the lineup for y.i's next girlgroup and things got even more intense. she was assigned to a certain role, to be this prim & innocent spring girl of sowon. nari didn't think much about and only nodded enthusiastically, not like she has a choice in it

2009 - 2014 (idol life under y.i.); the masses love the persona that she gave and she revels in the compliments. but everything went downhill for her when she was introduced to 4minute's hyuna and witnessed 4minute's live performance. she was in awe, it felt like deja vu for her as she wanted to break out of her current style. she asked innocently if she can explore more stronger concepts, the company basically laughed at her face and rejected the notion immediately. her persona sells greatly and comes second to the it girl, nari must forever be bomnyeo if she wants to gain more recognition. she started to feel suffocated and wants to break free from it, so she acted out by being more mischievous and experimenting with facial expression that doesn't match the concept. netizens of course picked it up quickly and criticised her for it, saying that it doesn't match the group's concept or her concept. because of it she wants to rebel out even more, the company took matters into their own hands and reprimanded the young girl, iseul was also blamed for not keeping her in line. feeling guilty for getting iseul and the whole group involved, she decided to be complacent, yet appearing more sad. it was also mentally draining for her because of her conflict avoidance personality. she could basically feel the tension every day and really wants to just hide & cry by herself because it is stressing her out. the departure of yujin did made her sad, however she knows that the older girl wanted to get out, despite bringing bad publicity to the group. however the yuri incident definitely impacted her as she was there to witness everything in front of her eyes. she felt that she should've done something to prevent it from happening. netizens commented on how she was on the verge of tears and repeatedly wipes her eyes when the public argument happened. iseul, even when she had a lot of things in her hands and shoulders, had to really be the mother for her as nari's little heart couldn't take all the tension and blaming herself

2015 / sowon's main dancer, formerly known as bomnyeo and presently goes with rina, has gone under criticism and backlash for changing her overall concept. sowon's rina debuted solo with KKPP and it immediately sparked controversy & negative comments saying how she's trying too hard to be like kim hyuna. the solo debut didn't gain many positive feedback and the promotion ended shortly after 2 weeks.
 

2016 / true / video of sowon's rina drunk outside of club / sowon rina is caught on camera outside of the club looking visibly drunk, slurring and occasionally walk off somewhere whilst her entourage tries to keep her from going too far away from their watch. netizen crucified her for her actions, with multiple comments saying that she's not being womanly and trashy. the other part of the netizen says that it's okay because she is of legal drinking age and the person who recorded her was invading her privacy. [update; wish entertainment and rina has apologised for the scandal & she promised that she will be more responsible in the future]
