When she was a teenager, Hana became interested in the gyaru subculture, and applied to be a model for the popular magazine Egg. It was also then that she became interested in Kpop after coming across Loona's MVs on Youtube. After finishing high school, Hana auditioned for BBC and was accepted as a trainee, however she left the company after 2 years.
In 2023, Hana auditioned for Be:Lift Lab and was accepted as a trainee, and debuted as a member of Cherubliss in 2024.
