As promised, here is my take on the tag! :D

Part 1 | The Questions

1. What is your favorite thing to do in the winter?

Resting (I’m looking forward to getting a full night’s rest now that I’m on break) and doing the things I couldn’t do during the fall term (e.g., drawing).

2. Do you enjoy the cold weather?

Yes…and no? I prefer warm weather, but I like that I can wear scarves, especially the ones I made, in this kind of weather.

3. The best color to wear in the winter is…

Red! It’s a festive color and I personally think it looks good with black, white, navy, gray, and green. (I may be a bit biased because I’ve been wearing a red scarf a lot these past few weeks.)

4. The best thing about winter is…

Being on break, being able to relax, and catching up with friends and family I haven’t seen in a long time.

5. The most annoying thing about winter is…

Um… I guess it would be weather. Weather can be unpredictable at where I’m from. You may get great weather for one day and the next day can become an awful one, in terms of weather O_O

6. What are your goals for the winter?

Oh boy… The first goal would be to get sleep (shout-out to all students who lost sleep this term). Another goal would be to read more (I’m trying to finish up a book I checked out from school so that I can read The Count of Monte Cristo). I want to draw and write as well. I also have to reorganize/clean up my room.

7. Favorite winter/holiday pastime?

This isn’t really a pastime, but it would be catching up with friends. Every break, I would catch up with my group of friends from high school and we would watch a movie, get dinner, or go to the city to shop and ice skate.

8. Favorite winter/holiday song or album?

I listen to a lot of Christmas songs around this time of year. Every holiday season, I listen to Michael Bublé’s holiday album (his voice is lovely and full of life).

But in terms of K-pop, I always listen to the most recent holiday album by EXO, though as late, I’ve been listening to their Sing to You album.

9. How about movie?

Home Alone for me. Strangely, I always watch this when I’m home alone O_O

10. Favorite or best seasonal flavor (e.g., peppermint, gingerbread, etc.)?

Peppermint

11. Beanies or earmuffs?

Beanies; I think I look weird in earmuffs.

12. Gloves or mittens?

Gloves all the way! I need to be able to use all of my fingers!

13. Sugar cookies or gingerbread?

Gingerbread for me. Sugar cookies are available all year round.

14. Eggnog or hot chocolate?

I love chocolate, so I’m going to have to go with hot chocolate (I’m sorry, eggnog).

15. Skiing or snowboarding?

I’ve never gone skiing or snowboarding. I think I would choose snowboarding because a lot of my friends know how to snowboard and I think they would be okay with teaching me.

16. What is the funniest gift you’ve ever received?

I received a pencil during a white elephant event. The funny thing was that I needed a pencil because I had lost mine prior to attending the event (this happened during finals season).

17. What do you think is the best gift to give?

It depends on the person and event. If you’re participating in a white elephant event during finals season, I think gifting a finals care package is a good way to go. Of course, if you’re giving a gift to a specific person, I would say a gift that fits their personality and interests is good. Anything handmade is the best gift! Handmade gifts hold a lot of sentimental value and they come from the heart :)

18. If you were to participate in a white elephant event, what would you bring as your gift?

Socks. I actually did this for a white elephant event a few years ago…and there was a lot of stealing for that gift O_O

19. Do you think you’re a hard person to shop for?

Yes and no? I don’t easily reveal what I like, so that can be a reason why I’m hard to shop for. I’m the kind of person who appreciates things regardless of what I receive. Someone can give me a card (and nothing else), and I will become the happiest girl in the world.

20. Ugly Christmas sweaters, yay or nay?

I like them, but I hate how a lot of them feature inapproriate things. Where can I find a nice ugly Christmas sweater that doesn’t feature inapproriate content and is cute at the same time? :(

21. Real Christmas tree or fake one?

Real one. I like the smell of a real tree. LOL

22. When it comes to ice skating, are you hanging onto the wall or out in the open?

Out in the open. I used to hang onto the wall for dear life, but whenever I did that, there was always a line of little kids behind me, either complaining that I was too slow or sending me death glares. LOL

23. Do you want to build a snowman?

Yes, I want to build one! I have never built a snowman before!

24. Do you dress up for Christmas, or do you stay in your pajamas?

Pajamas. I’m not going anywhere on Christmas Day.

25. On a scale of 1–10, how would your rate your gift-wrapping skills?

I would give it a solid 9. My sister always asks me to help her wrap gifts…which usually leads to me wrapping the gifts for her.

26. On a scale of 1–10, how excited are you for the holiday season?

I would give it a 7. I don’t know what I'm going to do for the holidays, so I’m average right now.

And bonus question:

27. You are participating in a Secret Santa. You draw a name and you end up with your bias as the person you will be giving a gift to. What would you gift him/her?

After seeing the teaser shots for “Love Shot,” I want to gift Sehun a shirt to wear underneath his blazer. I think I would probably give him a turtleneck so that he can match with D.O. :D

. This is my all-time favorite song by EXO, and my bias wrecker (as of now) is Suho. Suho sang this for his solo stage during EXO’s first concert tour, and he was perfect from beginning to end.
