Jimin knows whatever relationship between her and Aeri were, would definitely end someday. Most of her relationships ended like that, whic most of the girls that Jimin met frequently eventually ended up falling hard to her, getting hurt, and then decided to leave her. 

Because Jimin will never give herself as a whole. 

Why would you give yourself just for tiring and complicated matters?

You have to fulfill a thousand expectations, give your all to only one person, give countless effort to match each other, and be ready to get disappointed and be a disappointment whenever it doesn’t meet your expectation. 

Relationships are too tiring and complicated.

You can gain affection, warmth, and desire without involving yourself to that kind complicated things. You don't need to put any expectation and love as much as you want without the fear of disappointment. There’s no pressure for each other. You don't need to lose the freedom you have and you don't need to steal the freedom of someone else.

Jimin hates to lose her freedom and she fears disappointment.

Aeri is not much different from Jimin. 

She hates to settle herself into any kind of relationship. 

But then she changes.

Aeri met someone that made the necessity of it.

Aeri met someone that made such an urgency of it.

Aeri met someone that made her willingly sacrifice her freedom for it.

It’s Jimin. The woman who has changed aeri.

Jimin thinks about it a lot. Aeri changes. But what about herself?

“Aeri?” 

There’s a big bump inside Jimin’s heart when she sees Aeri in front of her door holding a plastic bag full of foods in her hand. 

She thought she would never see this scene anymore. 

She thought she would never experience aeri to run toward her anymore.

She thought she would never again get the butterfly from aeri's caring eyes which are staring at her. 

Aeri is now standing in front of her apartment.

And Jimin can’t tell exactly how she misses this scene. She misses Aeri.

“You didn’t look good all day”

“Aeri, are you drunk?”

Aeri smiles and then shakes her head lightly. 

“I’m not drunk, just a little bit tipsy”, Aeri holds out the plastic bag to Jimin. “Your favorit”
 

There’s an unfamiliar expression that Jimin saw in Aeri. 

She is smiling, hurtly.

And it hurts Jimin as well.

“Jimin”

It’s comforting and also painful hearing Aeri calling her name. She misses how Aeri used to call her. She misses how Aeri stares at her like she is the only view she could focus on. And she misses to feel how warm Aeri’s wrap and grip are now.

“Please, I beg you”, Aeri squeezes Jimin’s hand tightly with her blue smiles and eyes darting to her. “Don’t be sick please”

“You said you don't want to meet me anymore”

“I did”

“You are the one who is throwing me away, but why… why are you the one who gets this hurt, Aeri?

“Because…” Aeri doesn’t look away from Jimin’s eyes. She sadly stares into her eyes. “The fact that I love you still doesn't change at all, Jimin.”

Jimin knows without any doubt. She does feel the same. 

It never feels the same to Jimin anymore since they spent their time doing small things together, trying a lot of new things together, and giving her heart for the first time to someone. 

It never feels the same for Jimin since then. She does still love attention, but she loves Aeri’s attention the most. She meets less other women beside Aeri, because it doesn’t feel that right when she meets someone else, when it’s not Aeri.

“Aeri, I love you too. I’ve always loved you”

“I know”

Jimin holds her hands tightly. “Can we come back together like we used to?” 

Aeri shakes her head. “Jimin”

“Aeri… Does it have to be a relationship?” 

“You are right, I’m not the kind of person who does such a thing called a relationship. I don’t like those things”

“So you will come back?”

“But… I don’t like it even more when I have to share you with someone else”
