- Born in Hakone, Japan
- Yumeko showed an interest in music from a young age.
- She was thrown into dance and vocal classes from the time she could walk and talk.
- Moved to Tokyo in her first year of middle school to start training at AVEX academy.
- Found KPOP while at AVEX academy.
- Decided she wanted to try her hand at auditioning for a handful of Korean companies.
- Yumeko was accepted by Fantagio in mid 2015.
- Yumeko found the move to Korea very difficult and started to develop generalised anxiety disorder due to the stress.
- She was slated to appear on Produce 101 in 2016 along with some of the other Fantagio girls but had to pull out last minute due to her anxiety worsening.
- Yumeko decided not to seek help around this time and tried her best to deal with her anxiety on her own.
- In 2017 she debuted as a member of Weki Meki.
- Over the years she took multiple small breaks due to her anxiety worsening before put on a full on hiatus in 2019.
- Not long after her hiatus was announced, Yumeko went completely MIA from the public and made her way back to Japan to focus on her mental health.
- After promotions had ended it was formally announced that Yumeko had left Weki Meki.
- Yumeko spent her time back in Japan focusing on her mental health. She got a job working at a plant nursery in her hometown of Hakone.
- Yumeko was happy to be home and getting the help she needed but she couldn’t help but feel that she had let such an amazing opportunity slip away from her.
