Haneul is a sweet girl who cares a lot about her friends and people around her. She is a good listener and a golden hearted girl, yet she has a lot of self doubt and she is too shy. Towards the people she is close too she can be bubbly, extroverted and funny, however to other people she seems like a quiet girl. She tries to be very discreet and does not enjoy to catch attention, especially since her best friend is like a superstar. When she gets angry she seems like a cute marshmallow and her friends laught at her. On the other hand she is not confident about herself and also does not open up about her problems to anyone, even her best friends. She stands up and is protective about her friends, but she doesn't express how she feels and often is seen as invisible. Haneul not only has a good heart but she is also smart and learns easily. She believes in justice and goodness and somehow she believes everything has a reason to be and that we should try to do the right thing. Haneul is very intuituve and always follows her heart, maybe that's the reason why she has such a good talent with music. She can also be very stubborn, being very difficult to change her mind, and also, she will never give up until she tried everything she could.

Haneul was born on the same day as her neighbour (1 year later), and both their parents thought that it would be nice if they became friends. She grew up together with her best friend Hansol and she admired his swimming talent and wanted to become talented like him.

 

While growing up she always prefered to be more reserved and invisible while Hansol was more popular with people. However, she loved fairy tales and wished to one day find her own prince charming and live her own fairy tale. She was good at studying which was something she was proud of. Hansol always told her that she needed to dream big and show everyone how bright and funny she is. Due to her good grades she was able to win a scholarship to become a doctor as she loved to help people and manted to make a difference.

 

She realised that she enjoyed music and that she was keen on singing. She used to sing to older people and children, but she was too scared to show it to anyone. As time went by she decided to create a YouTube account named @RealSky, with her covers and songs and her artistic name being Sky. She never told anyone afraid of what people might think and especially because she was not confident enough to show herself, therefore she only had covers and videos without showing her face. She didn't tell her best friend either, because she was scared of how he would react especially as she later found out that he actually listened to her account.

 

As a matter of fact, she didn't hang out much with Hansol at their University because he was popular and she didn't like the attention people would give her when people find out that they were friends (girls would hate her in high school or would ask her to help them become close to him), but after university she would spend time with him. And since she was shy she would become flustered when Hansol tried to present her to some of his friends, which Hansol said was cute but she would hit him playfully for the embarassement.

 

She battles to how she can be good in her future job and help people, while at the same time she wants to follow her heart and sing to her content, while fighting with her shyness.

I got inspired in Jeon Eui's character in 18 again and regarding her love interest I believe she would fall for someone who saw her as who she is and not as Hansol's friend, although I imagine Hansol introducing her to some of his friends. Personally I kind of ship her with Yeonwoo (due to Bomin's character in 18 again), yet you can pair her with whoever you think fits best. Finally, I was making a 3rd character (Bang Sarang, Hansol's older sister), but I was not able to finish her on time. I wrote about her in their relationship, but if you find her interesting I can try finishing her and send it to you :)

 

SCENE SUGGESTIONS I honestly don't have any idea besides Haneul revealing herself, but I think it would be funny if a boy tried to make a move on her (for instant a flirt boy) as this clueless girl wouldn't realise it, and Hansol being the overprotective boy protecting her by saying a ridiculous think like she smells.
