hwang taeho was born in ulsan, on the 11 june 1999.
back then, his mother, hwang minyoung was just a teenager, living with a single mother and hs father, lee jaehyuk was another teenager from a wealthy family. both too young at only seventeen, they tried to make it work for a few month, living with jaehyuk's family but sadly their relationship was too tained and unhealthy. after six month, despite the fact that they loved each other, minyoung choosed to break up with jaehyuk and went back to her mother to raise her son.
of course it wasn't easy and everything became literally a nightmare when taeho's grandmother died when he was only two year old.

life in seoul with his father was not really different from how taeho used to live with his mother. the house was bigger but if his mother was always mentally absent, his father, was physically absent. despite being watched by an old nanny, taeho was lonely even if he managed to make a friend or two in school. at home he was totally alone so he started to be always mad at everyone. his anger got him in a lot of trouble in and out of school but the little boy was actually smart so his grades were pretty good. in middle school, he got intrested in the medical field. he liked the fact that they helped people and wanted to feel useful one day so he decided to one day become a doctor himself.
when he was fourteen, his mom officially moved in seoul too. they tried to mend their relationship by seeing each other regularly but sadly taeho didn't take well the fact that his mother had actually only come to seoul for her future husband. he still went to the wedding with his father, glad to see his mother doing well.

one year later, after giving birth to a second son, her mother divorced her husband but choosed to keep on living in seoul. after almost begging jaehyuk for months to trust her, he gave up and accepted to share custody with her.

today, a medical student, taeho lives with his mother and little brother and we can't say that the relationship between him and his parents has improved.

taeho have been living all his life as an adult. he didn't really had a quiet childhood. as a kid, he used to dream about a problem-free life but sadly he still feel like everything about his word is messy. how he wishe to know how to deal with both of his parents. he wants them to understand that they almost ed him up and the only reason he made it that far is because he didn't want to give up. maybe he should just let everything out ? just for once share his feelings about everything but wouldn't that make him behave like a kid ? he never had the chance to behave like one so maybe he could be a less harsh on himself and just let go. he is kinda tired of letting his parents getting away with being immature and no matter how much he loves his little brother, he is not his father. he can't and won't give up on his family but he wants them to help. he don't want to be the only one doing everything and he wants them to be there for him even he is often harsh on them.
it's rather pathetic to think that he only place where he feels good at it's a the hospital. he feels useful and he know exactly what he wants or what he needs to do there. his goal is to survive long enough to become a surgeon and then one day have a family of his own. a more serene family than the one in which he grew up.

THE STORY
- the meeting : "100% hero complex".
taeho and hada have meet before the young man started working at get well soon coffee. he was a simple customer and she was at the checkout taking care of a pushy customer so after five long minutes of hearing a dude yelling at the poor girl, taeho just snapped. he had a small argument with the stranger and the latter had to leave when the old owner, old cheon came and threatened to call the police.because she was grateful, hada must have thanked taeho at least ten times.

two monther after their first meeting, taeho started working at the coffee and well it's was rather awkward. due to the fact that he looks scary, hada didn't even dare to look at him but unfortunately it was her job to make sure taeho understood his duties. after his first week, taeho quickly notice that angry customers usually goes for her. because she look soft, she is almost always the one who get screamed at so taeho told he to call him if someone ever crossed her boundaries.
