liu yifei's life began on may 15th, 1999 to her parents she was very much a planned pregnancy she was born to take over her father's company when she was of age. SHe was meant to do what was laid out for her so yifei even though her parents weren't around for the most part except for when she was a baby she had things to do. SHe was expected to get the best of grades and excell in all the extra activities that she partook in. This all started from a young age and into school for her. SHe was just following her parents path that had been laid out before her. It wasn't until her middle school life that she even considered branching it out and it was all by chance. Her mother had her join choir and she fell in love with music through that which started it all. She enjoyed it so much enjoyed the harmonies, the music itself everything that came with it and she was good at it. It came naturally to her.
yifei was still planning on taking over her father's company at this point or if not that working at her mother's law firm. She just hadn't decided which it wasn't until a couple of her classmates were going to some concert and invited her to come that she'd decided she wanted to perform more than anything in the world. It happend her 2nd year of middle school. THey all went to a girls generation concert. From there she knew it was what she had to do with her life. that was it she wanted to perform for people in that moment she became aware that she didn't want to be her family's puppet to continue that. it wasn't at all what she wanted to do. SHe knew if she was to get her parents to agree she would have to prepare prepare hard. So Yifei did she learned all she could possibly know about auditioning and everything else before she approached her parents to let her audition.
The process of getting them to agree was a long one and continued throughout her last year of middle school. Finally they agreed and sent her off to Korea to audition on the condition she had to keep up with her grades and stay in contact in someway . They gave her a card so they could transfer her money and make sure she was taken care of.
