yun is the hong family's first american born member. her parents migrated from china when they first got married, settling in miami, florida for her father's career. through her childhood and teenage years, yun was pushed to be the best — in her academics and in the 'artistical' field, her parents enrolling her into countless piano and ballet classes.
come middle school was the rise of youtube. at that age, yun wasn't exactly given much access to electronics, and was only allowed on the web under her parents' supervision. but yun found ways. she stayed over at her friend's place often, watching hours and hours of youtube content. that was what had sparked yun's interest in becoming a content creator.
by 2016, she had saved up enough money from part time jobs for her first computer set-up.
currently, she studies computer science in an online university. it gives her the flexibility to study around her streaming schedule. she has already moved out of her parent's place into another house in orlando with a few of her friends. tbd.
