❝ i put your time in my heart ❞ when first meeting ryumi, she's a really quiet person. she knows when words are necessary and when they're not, so she often keeps her thoughts to herself and preffers thinking about her words twice so she doesn't end up saying something stupid. she normally has a blank face. maybe she often keeps words to herself, but when she gets to speak them, they come out fluently and without any self-interruptions or stutters. her speeches are often eloquent and that makes her look like a really mature person in people's opinion. ryumi's words are always clever and she likes making witty remarks when she feels in the mood for being humorous.

❝ the hero you've dreamed off since you were young ❞ ryumi is taiwanese-born, but both of her parents are korean. she was also born in kind off a wealthy family. her parents moved to taiwan when her mother was pregnant due to her father's work. ryumi was born in a normal day of november of 1992. people may thought that ryumi had been always a quiet girl, but that was totally not the case. ryumi was super social and extroverted as a kid. she onjoyed watching disney movies and learning the songs by heart. her mother had sent her to jazz and ballet classes since she was 5 years old. when she was 8 years old, her little brother was born. she was given the right to name him whatever she wanted, and being the little troll she used to be, she named him under the most common names in both korea and taiwan, so his brother's names ended up being moon donghyun and kevin moon. she loved the little kid to pieces, but as he grew, they both ended with a kind of affection where they teased each other endlessly. ryumi's love for music started when she came across taylor swift's debut song. she ended up falling in love with american asrtists and asked for an mp3 just to hear music and asked for music lessons. she started taking violin lessons since her parents thought that ''guitar was too much of a common instrument''.
❝ cause when you're fifteen ❞ ryumi and her family had to return to korea when she was 15, again due to her father's work. they lived in gwanju since that was her father's hometown, so she learned how to speak korean with jeollado dialect. she still took her guitar and violin classes, as well as jazz, but stopped doing ballet. some months after she arrived to korea, ryumi got herself her first boyfriend. the guy was named yoo daeho. they got together since that guy had achieved to become ryumi's best friend in the time she had been living in korea and the one who welcomed her the most. he evne helped ryumi with her korean which was still poor at that moment. however, after almost one year of dating, they went through a rather dramatical breakup when ryumi found out daeho cheated on her with some random girl of her classroom. after this, she wasn't depressed. hell, she didn't even shed a tear when they broke up, but she just decided that she would never let herself being ridiculized again and she became who she is now, the quiet, resentful ryumi replaced the cute and cheerful one. after her breakup was when she got the decision of becoming an artist. she would show a new side of herself to that idiot. so she trained her dancing, her singing and learned how to rap in the next year. on her 17th birthday, her only wish was to go to seoul and become an artist. she was granted with it after some beging. she moved to a small department along with her mother. she auditioned for various entertainment agencies, but had no luck whatsoever. after some months, cube entertainment recognized her talent and she entered there. however, she was out of cube two years later. she quit because she felt she didn't fit there anymore, and she knew training there would take her nowhere. after she was out, she started doing some underground rapping performances. on one of these performances, she was recommended to audition to starship, and so she did. she was luckily accepted right away. for some years she did some performances as sistar's back-up dancer as well as in one mv, which was give it to me. for performances, it was touch my body, alone, give it to me and loving u.
