One of the reasons why I think I should leave AFF

I came to AFF in 2013 and I read random stories without signing up. The stories here are fantastic and I have fun reading them but there is one reason why I think I should leave AFF. I have written one story, the short one and I'm currently helping my friend with her story that's currently on-hold. The reason is no one notices me - precisely is everyone ignores me. I've been ignored and abandoned everywhere including in my own house. I thought coming to AFF could at least make me quite happy but it never does. I'm hurt because I get no friends though there are thousands of people here. I think nobody reads my book though it is completed. Because of that, I don't feel like writing here. I think I'm gonna write the stories and post it in somewhere else, so I just wanna let my readers (if there are some) who wonder why I never write story anymore; I just wanna inform that I think my decision is ultimate. I'm gonna leave AFF.

heeyy please don't give up just like that :'( I'm sad just reading this, and... I hope you are not making it hard for yourself... *sigh* many people here gets ignored too, and it's realy sad to see it happen... but hey, if it makes you feel better, you can talk to me. I only came across your post now so it's probably late, but if you come back and see this and still want someone to talk to, I'm here :)

aww, sorry to hear that. well...i've been not just ignored but looked down on my whole life and wherever i go...and i write like 50 fics in AFF alone in my 3+ years here...i hardly get any comments or subscribers let alone readers, i still keep writing my unpopular stuffs since in the end, they keep me happy...although silent readers piss me off..., there are many ignored writers here too, some write for like 10-20 chapters with not even a single comment...and the saddest part is many of the ignored ones are actually good writers, some better than popular ones...they just have no popularity n support...so their readers take them for granted and feel no need to comment...just bcuz nobody start it first...well...i'm just a passerby...so i can't control/dictate your decision, but if it makes you feel better, just would like you to know there are many other ignored people, you're not alone... :) but if you do decide to stay in aff, maybe you can join some associations that might make you feel a lil better....like this: http://www.asianfanfics.com/story/view/177966/ there used to be a project for writers to support each other here, but i think it's closed down...too bad....either way, all the best~!
