PERSONALITY » Michelle is extremely independent, she will not let anybody pin her down or any rules; she wants to experience the world on her own. Michelle never lets anybody dictate her, as freedom is very essential to her overall well being. She likes to leave her mark on everyone she meets, usually putting on a rude or sarcastic disposition. Even though Michelle is a bit blunt and crude, she is the one to go to for any advice. She can help you get what you need by helping you with persuasion and enthusiasm, and she gives out good advice too. She can persuade and manipulate very well. Michelle very well judges a person by the way they treat her. This usually leads her to have wrong impressions of people and can cause problems in relationships. Because of her judging ways, many people are quick to judge her too and they very much gets under Michelle's skin. She puts up her sarcastic mask because of how she was raised, with two parents with really different personalities got to her in a way. From going back and forth with the different attitudes, she sort of grew two personalities in one. Underneath that cold exterior she hides behind, she actually what you would call a rather fragile girl.
She can be shy and scared, but she keeps up that facade just so others won't know how weak she really is. She wants to come off as this strong, y person so no one would have to see the real weak her. Only those of which she's extremely close to or fond of know of her real self. She will slowly accept that those close to her will never truly hurt her and so she feels like she can actually be herself around them, her actual girly, hyper self.
Adding more to her outer shell, Michelle is, what you could call, a female version of Kyuhyun. She can be very snarky and snippy most of the time, especially when she's not in a good mood. Her emotions tend to go from happy to sad to angry all in the matter of seconds. Get her started on intelligence and she'll sprout a new language called sarcasm and nerd. She can be stubborn, especially when it comes to things she really wants. Nothing will bring her down. When bored or just in a random mood, she can be quite the ert. She sometimes gets touchy feely with the other members, but nothing too far that'll ruin any type of friendship together.
In simpler words, many people see Michelle as a beauty with a beast like personality. She can be polite and nice, but then be a quickly. She likes to say that its her parents' fault, since she was raised with two different types of personalities.

BACKGROUND » Michelle's parents met each other in California. Her father was born there with strict parents who wanted the best of their only son. Her mother was an only child too, but her life was a lot more cheerful. She was spoiled most of her life and was able to go to California when all she did was ask. Her parents met up at the same college. At first, they hated, no, absolutely loathed each other. Their personalities were way too different that everyone knew to not make any jokes between them. Her father only wanted to get through school to make his parents proud, but it was hard when her spoiled mouth kept teasing him throughout the school year. After a year of nonstop teasing, he finally spoke up for himself. Though, it didn't it end up pretty for him. All of her 'girlfriends' backed her up and the teasing continued. Then, the failing grade came on her mother's account. In order for her to pass the class, she needed a tutor which the teacher already paired her up with him. On the days the teacher set up, she was to go to the library to meet him and stay there for at least two-three hours with him. On the third tutoring day, something very unexpected happened. Out of frustration he was having with her, he suddenly kissed her which led to a rather passionate first kiss for both of them actually. With how awkward everything happened, they pretended nothing happened, but it was hard for them. Surprisingly, all their friends had noticed the different atmosphere surrounding them. It was an ongoing thing for weeks until the weird emotion they were both feeling poked its head in and made itself known. It took another week for another kiss to happen between them, this time ending much more passionate and a lot more than just one kiss had happened. When they both finally had enough courage to talk about their relationship, the found out that they had both been attracted to each other and soon enough, they acted out on their love and got together; surprising all of their friends.
All their friends we still surprised when they ended up staying together even after college. Even with their major personality differences, they loved each other (truly going with opposites attract?). So when they wedding finally happened, their friends were once again flabbergasted. During the wedding, they even showed a picture during the dinner of an ultra sound. She was pregnant with his child, once again, surprised. Their friends knew that when their child is born, they are going to be a force to be reckoned with. So when Michelle was finally born, you could say she was rather spoiled. There were somethings she wasn't allowed to have because her father disapproved of spoiling his daughter too much, but her mother said otherwise. Because of being slightly spoiled from such parents, she began to grow sort of weak, not wanting to go outside nor play with friends. When her parents figured out about it, her mother finally backed away from the spoiling (even if it broke her expensive heart). But the damage was already done.
Michelle...wasn't your typical snob. She didn't use money for everything, but she did splurge a lot. Most people saw her as a stupid rich girl, but her close friends would always tell them wrong. She was far from being like those girls. Well, she was a , she wasn't gonna lie about that.
School was school, Michelle likes to put that behind her. She wasn't the smartest, but she wasn't stupid either. You could say her best friend and kpop saved her through those grueling years. She will be honest and say that she begged and begged for any kinds of kpop merchandise and concert tickets that she could get. Then after graduation, she realized what she wanted to do in life. Being an idol, that was her absolute dream. She could make it, she thought. Remembering all those chorus practices and dancing lessons, she was always at the top of those. It was made for her! So she of course went right to her parents, just asking, asking, and asking to be one, to audition and live her dream! Her dreams were slapped away when her father said no.
He was afraid. He didn't want his little girl to be in such an unstable career choice. Though her father's decision, she continued to fight for her dream. Her dream to be an idol. After a few years, she finally did it. Her father finally saw how much Michelle would fight for this career and finally gave in, as long as she would remember her family in the end.

He's a real gentleman when it comes to women even if he doesn't look like it. Behind the lights and cameras, he's one of the cheesy romantic guys.

HOW YOU MET » Now, believe it or not, Michelle and Eric sort of knew each other already. They were found the same way! YouTube covers in America. They had messaged each other a few times, giving the other advice. Yes, they have not met face to face. Why? Because Eric was in Korea while Michelle was still in California. But they still hadn't seen each other because when Michelle was scouted and moved to Korea, they hadn't really talked to other.
So how did they meet face to face? They met through Brianna. Wait, how is that possible? Well, with Nana's choice of occupation, she gets enough money sometimes for a roundabout trip to South Korea. So, of course, Michelle just has to show her best friend around the beautiful scenery. As much as it sounds kinda off, they ran into Eric at a cafe near the B2M building. Now, Michelle had no idea that her BFF was a huge Eric Nam fan. Let's just say, Michelle really wants to forget about the whole meeting all together.
After apologies, Eric recognized Michelle and the exchanged numbers (so quick?). Truth be told, Eric developed a strong crush on Michelle. Her whole demeanor along with her blunt way of talking, it kind of drew him in. In turn, Michelle always thought of Eric to be attractive...like really attractive (not like she would ever admit that to anyone).
INTERACTIONS » Michelle treats Eric like she treats anybody. Sarcastic remarks, friendly violence (like smacking, etc.), and harmless teasing. Eric is somewhat shy and reserved when it comes to anything Michelle. She's so confident and could care less what people think about her. Eric just doesn't know what to do around her. You thought he was dork normally, you should see him with Michelle. Bumble of words along with a face red as a tomato, who would of thought Eric could be like that?
Michelle, being the tease that she is, always sends Eric some of the most mysterious texts that could easily be misinterpreted along with voicemails. On TV (like interviews and such), Michelle would always answer her ideal type being the opposite of Eric Nam, just to see what kind of reaction she can get out of him. She's always calling out on him too, harmless of course.
