PERSONALITY +
Alex was born to be optimistic. Ever since she was young, her relatives would always hear her talking to herself, cheering herself on when times were tough. She didn't like the feeling of sadness and she always tried to keep the aura happy. In her younger years like 3–6 years old, Alex was quite anti-social. Not because she had a phone at that age, it was simply because she didn't like talking to people. But there came a day when she met her first actual friend in 3rd grade and developed an open personality. She would constantly say 'hi' to random people. Much to everyone's surprise, those people reply back with a 'hello'. Alex is also truthful. Anything that comes out of is truth (Except when she's acting, of course). If ever she would tell a lie, she would draw a small invisible circle using her fingers on a flat surface are or on her lap.

Her brother teases her a lot, which made her want to back. Due to that, her habit of teasing her brother developed and it made her friends playfully as well. Alex knows her limits and that she shouldn't go overboard with her teasings. Alex can also be clumsy at times. Well, most of the time. She had once hit her leg on the bed frame when she was climbing up her bed. Alex becomes impassive from time to time. Having a blank face, it would follow up by a dumb or clueless face if someone tried to get her attention.

Of course, everyone has their flaws. Alex is short-tempered. Just by disturbing her from reading a book can cause her to raise her voice. She can't control that trait of hers at all. Something that angers her the most is when someone asks her to do something strenuous. Alex isn't pregnant or anything, but she constanty gets mood swings. Like.. One minute she's laughing with her best friend, and the next minute, an unfortunate event would happen and would make her cry or feel depressed. But nonetheless, she's happy most of the time. There would be times when Alex's mature side shows up. It's usually when a person who is being unreasonable catches her attention. She would be callous and lecture that person in a cold way, making the person feel very guilty. 

BACKGROUND +
Alex was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. She had never met her real parents before, so she grew up with her foster family. She may have been adopted, but she was treated like a blood-related family member. No one in the family actually made a fuss over the adoption. Alex and her foster brother acted more like siblings. Beyond that. They were like best friends. Despite being three years younger, they treated each other most of the time like they were the same age. But of course, there were also times when Alex acts younger than him. Her brother, Lance, had a huge obsession with Lamborghini cars. Because of him, she had also grew an interest with cars. She didn't have any ambition in life until she heard a female on TV sing with such a melodic and powerful voice. Since then, Alex would sing to songs at random moments. Her foster parents also admired her voice. Lance said that he didn't like her voice, but in the inside, he was so proud to have a sister like Alex.

They moved up to high school and began to mature a little. Barely. Alex and Lance's favorite subject was Science. Lance wanted to become a doctor but Alex wanted to be a singer. Her parents had enrolled her to vocal lessons because their school didn't provide any. In the midst of all the normal days in highschool, the rumor of SM Entertainment holding a global audition near their school began spreading. Her parents, and brother, urged her to audition because it was one step closer to her dream. (Audition would be elucidated later). It took about a week before her family was informed that she got accepted to SM. Her family was overjoyed and they felt excited for Alex's future. Not wanting to leave them behind, Alex brought her family with her to Korea.

Her first few days in Korea wasn't challenging for her because she had spoken in Korean to her father before. Similar to how she was in Australia, she still said 'hi' to people. But this time, she mostly says hi to cute boys. Alex has this habit of looking for cute boys but she doesn't fall for them. To her, personality is the top priority in love. 

Alex spent her first few weeks touring Seoul and some other provinces with her family. It was enjoyable and she felt like a tourist. She was technically considered a tourist anyway. As time flied, she became familiar with her surroundings and was able to travel within the country by herself. 

TRAINING TIME + 3 years.
TRAINEE LIFE +
Taking the global audition was tough. Most of the trainees in SM Entertainment were accepted through the Weekly Audition. Lance came to the audition place with her because she stated that she was nervous. There was a small TV outside the audition room so that the other applicants could see the audition live. That actually made her more nervous and shy. Well, time didn't stop. Soon, her name was called. Standing up from her seat, she almost tripped because her legs felt like jelly due to her nervousness.

Alex walked in the audition room and it first started with an interview. They didn't ask a lot of questions. Just a 'What's your name?', 'What would you do?' and a short introduction about herself. After the interview section was over, she had to sing. Alex had no idea why she chose to sing 'Listen' by Beyoncé for the audition. Much to her luck, she sang it perfectly. The judges were blown away by her sweet and melodic voice. It was also powerful. One of the judges even though of making her debut on the spot but her problem was, she was not that good in dancing. Seeing the potential in her, all the judges instantly accepted her. Right after she walked out of the room, her brother hugged her tightly and he was stated that he was so proud of her.

The results of the audition were announced a week after. Her grandparents, aunts and uncles from both sides were at the house during the release of results, which made the house so noisy when they discovered that she was accepted.

When she got into SM, there were some girl trainees who hated her because they watched her audition. They were obviously jealous of her ability to sing very well. The aura in the practice rooms were awkward during the first few days. Alex was ought to attend KENT, the school where foreign trainees go to. From there, she met a new friend anemd Kim Aerin. She was quite surprised when she found out that Aerin was half Australian as well. That similarity made them closer like best friends. Aerin had also recognized her because of her audition. Technically, Alex's audition was seen by most of the trainees. 

She spent most of her trainee years in the dance practice room. Alex loved dancing but she really didn't have a dance talent. Despite that, she didn't give up and worked very hard to dance. She was desperate to debut. In early January 2015, she was called up by Lee Soo Man, along with Aerin and a few other trainees. All the words that escaped his mouth made her cry tears of joy. She couldn't believe what she had just heard. Alex told her brother and parents about it, and it made them so happy for her.

Since that day, she, of course, practiced with the other trainees, including Aerin. They had to prepare for their debut. All six of them worked very hard to prepare for their debut to the entertainment world.

— Learning Chinese possibly because of Lu Han
     • Some fans who were passing by heard of Xiumin teaching Alex how to speak Chinese in a café or restaurant. The company didn't deny it because it was true. It wasn't a very bad scandal.
— Dating scandal with EXO's Xiumin
   • This started with a rumor when he started teaching her Chinese. This time, SM Entertainment denied it because it was truly just rumors by the fans.
— Sleeping with EXO's Oh Sehun
     • SeHun would invite Alex for a sleepover sometimes. Some fans had caught them. SeHun also posted a selfie of the two of them in bed, about to sleep, in Instagram. The fans quickly assumed that they slept together in a dirty way. The scandal was very bad but it was resolved during an interview when the two stated that they were just best friends.

A ; SM said that the name 'Alex' would require a lot of characters (아렉스). So they made her stage name 'A'. It only requires two characters (애이).

was born on apRil 18, 1993 from a KOrean father and a australian mother in MElbourne, australia,. Currently 22 years old, she grew up in melbourne thus making her fluent in aussie english. Standing at 165cm for 51kg, Alex is notably known for looking like baE suzy or even sometimes bang minah.

PERSONALITY +
Xiumin has innocent features but his personality doesn't match him at all. He's conceited. He's always proud of himself for being able to do this and that. He even admires himself from the mirror. He likes to call himself handsome but never smart. To him, having brains was boring. Although, he wasn't that stupid though, he was actually smart because his parents raised him well. Xiumin hates waiting. Simply making him wait can cause him to get angry. He doesn't like newcomers for some reason. 

On stage, he's confident and still a little conceited because of the fans. His love for his fans were real and he was happy to stand on stage. Even if he's already an idol, Xiumin still finds it a miracle. When Alex is around, he –of course– becomes playful. He loves teasing her and seeing her angry, annoyed face afterwards. But, he has this voice inside his head which tells him when his teasing becomes too much or is exceeding the limit. He didn't like to annoy Alex to the point that she'd get angry at him.

Despite having a number of bad traits, he also has good ones. To people whom he love or related to him in someway, he always tries ihs best to give them the best care. He would even offer his drink. His caring side was oftenly seen when Alex made a big mistake or when she's sick. Whenever EXO practices, he always does his best to make sure the group succeeds. 

HISTORY +
They first met when the practice for the hologram musical started. Since she was still a trainee that time, he looked down on her. Hearing that Alex would be Xiumin's girlfriend annoyed him. He found her pretty but his negative side took over and made him think she's not. There was a kissing scene in the play (forehead), and he had to repeat that for a month. During practice and on the actual performance. Backstage, he would a lot. Most of the time, they would end up laughing. Xiumin would poke her forehead from time to time when he's bored. Their interactions just increased everytime Xiumin kissed her forehead.

After the musical performance was over, the two didn't bother to exchange numbers. They were frenemies anyway. Alex had to continue her training, of course. But, from there, she met Sehun and Yoona. Sehun visited more often, which made them closer. Despite that, both of them knew that Alex was infatuated with Luhan. Sehun would sometimes bring her with him and Xiumin would always see her with Sehun. In a nutshell, her trainee days were simply interacting as best friends with Xiumin.

Debuting as a member of ℋєяα was really big for her. Xiumin was waiting backstage with flowers to congratulate her.  He actually placed it on her table when the make-up artists were busy taking her make up off and such. Xiumin said that the only reason why he did that was because EXO told him to. The rest of the members of ℋєяα obviously knew it was a lie because they found out —from Chen— that Xiumin had feelings for Alex.

Xiumin was very jealous when Alex started acting with Yoona and Sehun. She acted as Yoona's sister and Sehun's fianceé. Xiumin would always pick her up from the shooting place and he watches the drama as well. The rest of EXO wonder why he watches the drama even if he knew he would get jealous in the end. Xiumin didn't answer them. Aside from the drama, Alex had to go to a photoshoot with Xiumin for ELLE Korea. They looked like a couple during the photoshoot because of the poses that they made.

When the sleeping scandal with Sehun started spreading, Xiumin scolded Alex a lot. It made her cry actually. Seeing her crying face made his heart turn soft, so he started comforting her. Sehun apologised because both of them were the cause of the scandal. It wasn't real, but it looked like it from the fans' perspective because of the selca that they took before they sleep. The scandal was soon proven as a rumour and their relationship as best friends became popular within the fans.

Alex asked Xiumin to teach her Chinese because she liked Luhan. That broke his heart completely. But nonetheless, he taught her Chinese. They would often meet up just for Chinese. But in fans' perspectives, it was something else. Because of that, the scandal 'Xiumin and Alex' were dating started to spread. The company wanted to stop the rumours, so they had no choice but to let Alex mention 'Luhan', the former EXO member. During an interview, she was asked who she liked and she stated Lu Han without hesitation. Xiumin was in the interview room as well, but he wasn't being filmed. He was broken into pieces when she started talking about him.

Xiumin decided to soften up a bit. He started being more affectionate to Alex. On the day that he decided to confess, something big ruined it. Luhan visited EXO. Alex's mind was filled with Luhan. Seeing him was her dream. In front of EXO and ℋєяα, Xiumin stole a passionate kiss from Alex, shocking every member in the room. He felt like a third wheel. But his sadness disappeared when she kissed him back. Obviously, their boyfriend-girlfriend relationship started there.

SM Entertainment knew from the start that Xiumin had feelings for Alex but he just kept denying. They find it sweet and cute to see them together. They tease each other a lot in public. Maybe they only become sweet when they're alone. EXO and ℋєяα would have some joint schedules and the two of them would always focus on each other. Some fans started shipping them, without the though of them being real already.

After a year or less, during ℋєяα's comeback, Xiumin did a surprise performance for Alex and made the fans fangirl a lot. They announced to the fans that they were dating that day. Some were extremely happy and some were sad. Xiumin's love for his fans didn't change though, which made the fans feel okay with it.

RELATIONSHIP +
Wether they're in public or in private, the two of them still tease each other. They don't have a push-pull relationship. More like love-hate. They love each other a lot but they hate the fact that they love each other. People state that the two of them were childish because of that. Their relationship looked like child's play. They would e and there and would act like best friends. But as soon as they announced their relationship status to the fans, they became more serious about their relationship and began to act more like a sweet couple.

Xiumin would give her flowers every time she gets a high achievement. Or sometimes, he just gives her on dates. He's been a gentleman to her ever since they went official. Of course there are still times where they would act playful. But they matured a little and began treating their relationship seriously. Cherishing each moment together. After years of dating, Xiumin was thinking of getting married. But, he's still trying to choose the right decision.
