✕ i'm a girl from ulsan, with special charms; born on april 14, 1994, jooeun is the last child of the son family in ulsan. the son family was not outstandingly wealthy, or poor, it's as of the middle class. if they didn't bear this much children, they could be richer, i guess. anyway, the son family consist of the father, son junhyuk, the mother, ahn sunmi, and the three siblings, son jootae, son joohye and lastly son jooeun. since young, being loved by all the family members, jooeun had a wonderful childhood. even though they were living in ulsan, in which was not as fun as places like seoul, the son siblings knew how to have fun. although jootae and joohye are eight years and five years elder than jooeun respectively, bickerings and conflicts existed but definitely not much. instead, childish arguments among jootae and joohye were even more. and as of their parents, son junhyuk and ahn sunmi own a small cafe not so far away from their home. the cafe is nothing big, just enough to support the family. the son siblings never request more than they could afford, so the family is generally a happy and warm family.

✕ before: talk about the photo again and i'll kill you; so after they officially meet each other, jooeun had started growing her hateful feelings towards jackson of showing her photo in front of the got7 members. she actually thought one of them was really handsome and wanted to know him properly, at least not like that situation. so whenever they meet each other, jooeun would be the one starting childish bickerings with jackson, and jackson isn't anyone lenient towards girls, and he would argue back. some might find them cute, while the members just find them annoying. like, would you like two person keep debating beside you 24/7? no. jackson and jooeun fight, and talk about of each other, rant for the whole day, then secretly make up, but then defending their standpoint in which they're not completely forgiving each other, and fight again. during the patterned cycle, they grew close with each other and are used to argue over on their phones through texts. sometimes, jooeun texts jackson even more than jungyeon.
✕ after: you're the fries to my burger; soon, they found themselves falling for each other more and more each day. in the beginning, neither one of them were willing to admit the fact that they fell in ove with each other because both were afraid that the feeling was not mutual, until jackson accidentally questioned jooeun of liking ze:a hyungsik so much (well, her love for hyungsik is unquestionble fyi). and with that, jungyeon told jooeun that jackson likes her too. jooeun met up with jackson, and confessed. next, they became official. however even after dating, bickerings still occur (nightmare to all got7 and ignite members) only those are sweeter than before. jackson would eventually let jooeun win the debate. they sometimes do skinships, but not much; one thing is that they never spill sugar-coated words to each other, they don't think that's necessary actually.

✕ i am not straight-d! just straight c- that is, so far; to be very honest, jooeun was definitely not the most talented ones in her company. she could be quite the opposite. yes, she could dance, but there are those who dance way better than her. even she herself knew the reason clear, she's mostly got accepted into yg with her face. she isn't really talentless though, she proved that she could dance, and deserve her place in yg by some reasons. since she's the outgoing type of girl, making friends in yg was a piece of cake to her, and also, she wouldn't be the type of girl to be bullied in the company. like everyone else, jooeun had her difficulties of being a trainee despite always wearing the cheerful smile on her face. she rarely ever balance her trainings and her school life. she was already a straight-c student, so being a trainee only made things worse. it was extremely hard of her to get a balance inbetween. luckily, since she was living in the same flat with jootae and joohye in seoul, the two were able to help jooeun pick up her academic result regularly so that jooeun were at least able to pass the core subjects.
✕ i am proud as a sub, does that matter?; except this problem, her training life was not easy at all. trush had been told, she did belong to the useless-except-face group, that most of the talented ones would never understand why exactly the company even accepted them into yg in the first place. however, jooeun did try her very best to improve in all areas, so after four years of hard trainings, her singing improved much, and now she could actually reach the level of average singing ability of korea's idol girl groups. as for her dance, she managed to get to be one of those who in-charge of dancings, and she was pretty glad about that too, since she actually got into the world of kpop because of her dance. though we all may know that it's just because the company couldn't find a specific position for her hence the lead dancer and vocalist.
