So today i went for camp and we made a trip to a nature reserve( Sungei Buloh - Singapore) .

So at first i was all like... 

What the . Its gonna be so boring. And the fact that its a nature reserves means that there's gonna be LOADS of butterflies.

AND I'M SUPERRR SCARED OF BUTTERFLIES.

Then the ahjusshi(tour guide who i call ahjusshi) started talking and i was fallling asleep on the bus..

UNTIL HE MENTIONED CROCODILES.

I woke up instantly and was SUPER HYPER XDD
Cause i totally love crocodiles<3

And snakes :DD

And almost all reptiles.

Except for house lizards. Ya know.. those you sometimes will see at home.

And so while we were walking through all the mangrove and stuff i kept looking around for crocodiles xD

BUT ALL I SAW WAS MONITOR LIZARDS OF DIFFERENT SIZES SURROUNDING US.

NOT A SINGLE CROCODILE TT^TT

There are of course other wildlife like squirrels, crabs, mudskippers, birds, fishes etc etc all around.

Not forgetting butterflies,mosquitoes and other bugs/huge spiders -.-

So we were folowing the guide around..

and a snake fell onto his head xD

Its a very small snake(and i forgot the name of it xD ).

About 25cm in length and 1.5 cm thick. ( from what i see xD )

So the guide took it down.

And it bit him.

Good thing it wasn't venomous :3

And i took the snake and played with it xDD

Cause its freaking cute.

And all the other girls all screamed and ran away.

I was thinking..

WTS? Snakes are such cute creatures ;w; How can you reject them ;w;

And then we released the snake back into the wild. :(

So i kept myself happy during lunch taking pictures of a white water hen which was near the waters.

Its really cute :DD

Then after that i saw something move in the water.

For a moment i was all hyped up, thinking, maybe i can get to see a crocodile.

But It was 2 monitor lizards.

That are freaking huge.

ing having MATING. 

My mood :

Hyped up --> Disappointed --> start laughing

Its just so weird.

The female one, who is under the male, keeps ing upwards, against the male.

And the male s towards her.

Then their tails slide over each others'.

And their limbs were tangled together xDD

All in all, it was very obvious that the two were very passionate about it.

And i was about 3metres away from them watching and taking photos of them go at it xD

But all the photos weren't that good because i kept laughing xDD

Then i went to the other side trying to get a better shot, while ignoring my teachers xDD

And i saw an even bigger monitor lizard swin over towards the 2 who are mating.

A few thoughts popped up in my mind instantly.

1: ing?

2:?

3: Maybe the third dude is the relative of the female/male or something?

So i ran over to my original spot and waited for drama.

And i was right.

ING. 

The 2nd male when over to the 2 who are still going at it and started flirting with the female, who was below the other male, whom flirted back.

The other  male, unfortunately, didn't realised that his "wife' was flirting blatantly right behind his back, with his rival.

Then he slowly turned around, and saw the other male.

And suddenly there was a huge splash of water.

First thought that came into my mind?

Erm.. Monitor Lizard ?

After the splashes of water settled down, i saw the 2 malle monitor lizards slowly stood up on their hindlegs(?) and started wrestling.

Like sumo wrestlers.

And the female, was no where to be found.

So i tried to take more pictures, but i  was laughing extremely hard at the sight, so my hand was super shaky.

Then ahjusshi made me move away from the scene and into somewhere else to watch a video of the place.

And sadly, by the time i came out, the fight was over, and there wasn't a single monitor lizard left at the scene :(

DAMN. I REALLY WANTED TO SEE WHO WON >:((
I WAS SUPPORTTING THE OTHER MALE(who was smaller than the 2nd male) T^T

Oh well~ xDDD

The mating/fighting scene made up for not seeing crocodiles. xDD
