Extra features — Semi has a mole on her right shoulder and two piercing on her right ears. She has a faint scar on her left ankle because she once rode a bike around the river and hit a nail along the gate and it left a small faint scar on her ankle since then. Even though it's really unnoticable, she still felt insecure about showing her left ankle. She has a slightly sensitive scalp if she doesn't take care of her hair after dyeing it because she once went off to dye her hair without anyone knowing and got her hair dye by someone who had just learn how to dye and got her hair ruined and since then, Semi sweared to never dye her hair again.

Semi cares a lot about her fashions but she never dress to make herself uncomfortable. On an ordinary casual day, you would often see her in a pair of short and oversize shirt or a tank top with cardigan and a pair of sneaker or sometimes, a pair of shade at her best. Because she doesn't really fancy pink, her wardrobe is packed with dark color clothes including grey, black or or white at its lightest. But, she does has a thing for hot pink which she thinks is 5 times better than normal pink. During practice, she'd be seen with a pair of short or sweatpants with long-sleeve loose shirt and of course, a pair of sneaker or sometime, tag along a snapback.

Most of the time, Semi collects snapbacks. She has all sort of snapbacks that come with different designs for each occasions and you could say, it's like a snapback shop inside her wardrope. She would sometimes collect some shades and handbags too. [1] [2] [3] [4]

Semi is that type of person who looks like a cold city girl during everyone's first impression of her. But, as you slowly get to know her, she's like an onion. The more you peel it, the more it appears to you with its true color. Semi is exactly the same as that. She can be very attentive and friendly if you get to know her clearly. She looks out for everyone around her but at some point, if you're really close and you have a fragile heart, don't ever ask for her opinions. It's a fortunate thing if she likes it, but if it doesn't seem right to her, you can expect the bluntest response that could drop your self-confidence immediately. And yes, she's working hard to get rid of that blunt side of her and it has got a lot better. When it comes to talent and work, she has that confidence in herself and you could tell she's passionate about her work but at one point, she's a big workaholic and a huge perfectionist whereas she could even skip a meal or couldn't keep herself healthy. By couldn't keep herself healthy, she often get a cold or flu during winter if she doesn't dress in a right clothing.

Semi is really clumsy or what everyone called her, a magic hand. If she doesn't lost anything once a week, you could consider that a miracle in a daylight. Every day, you would often hear her goes around, looking for her stuffs or sometimes, panicking because she just broke something that isn't hers. Well, it wasn't on purpose but no one really want her to hold their precious things because that magic hand could broke it before they even know it. She's a big sleepyhead too and she refuses to wake up even if her alarm is basically, waking the whole house up. She doesn't like anyone disturbing her sleep and who knows, you might get hit by two pillows at a time if you're responsible for waking her up so always remember to put on a helmet incase a flying phone or bottle might come flying in your way.

Semi is not an expressive person. Her very most expressive speech is, "Thank you very much.". She, at one point, finds it's awkward to say how she feels to the people around her and she thought it's embarrassing to lets people know how you actually feel when you're directly speaking to them face to face. But, she can be quite expressive if you give her some paper and pen or a phone or any device to type on. But, don't ever expect her to stay next to you after she hands it to you.

"You don't need to be so expressive in order to survive."

Semi actually cooks very well, not to the point where she could be crown as a masterchef but she can cook at least to the point you felt happy with each spoonful. But, the very worse thing you do not want to do to her while she's cooking is playing any music inside the kitchen. She might lose herself in the music and forgot about her food and might even burn the whole house down. It happened twice and music is strictly prohibited in kitchen when Semi is around. The second thing you do not want it to happen is her adventure in the kitchen. Adventure may be fun but Semi's adventure could make someone end up in hospital with their life on stake. She likes to mix different ingredients up and that leads to a serious food poisioning every time and her cousin swore to never ever taste Semi's adventuring-cooking ever again.

"I just add a magic touch and BOOM. You'll end up in hospital."

Contrast to all of those good points of hers, she can be a huge fail sometimes too. She can be very socially awkward to the point she couldn't even open when she's meeting new people. She stutters alot or worse, she could just sit there and bite her lower lip while staring at them without blinking and that often make people misunderstood her and thought she was judging them. Well, you could say she really was. She would always try to see if they look kind enough for her to open or maybe they're just bad that she would get killed if she said something wrong. Her short temper is one of her flaw whereas she blew up easily but she also calm down easily. But, if Semi ever lose her temper, she'd try to hold it in as long as she can which obviously lasts for 10 seconds only, she would try to lose her temper at the most quietest place possible.

"I'm not that bad but my temper is not that great either."

Semi can be quite dumb and difficult sometimes. Unlike her sister and her dad, she's really bad at studying. It's not like she doesn't pay attention, she just thought studying is her things at all. If someone explain her how does some game work, she would sometimes just stare blankly at time and confuse on what is going on. But, if you're kept on repeating the same explanation over again to make sure she's clearly understand when she said she is, don't ever do that. She's going to get mix up and confuse on what to do next which is obviously something you wouldn't want to think about. She can be a team's black hole sometimes. She can be very forgetful too like losing her phone and would later find them in the fridge. She can be so dumb to the point she's very happy and danced in the shower and end up slipping and fell resulting in a twist ankle or elbow for a week or two. But, if we're on about something that she knew, she can be quite a brain or a smarty about that.

background/past

Semi is the youngest child in her household. She was born in Beijing, China. It may be easy and fun to be the youngest child but because of her role of the youngest in family, she was never allowed to go anywhere. Being the youngest in her household, she did depend on her sister a lot and that obviously made her felt guilty until now. For every mistakes and injuries that she gained, the fault will be her sister even though it's obviously hers and Semi always felt bad for her even though she insisted that she's fine but she clearly knew her one and only sister who is always getting the blame is not fine. As she grew bigger, she always tried to protect her sister and took her side when she's at fault and everyone could tell Semi treasures her oldest sister dearly. 

When she turned 5 years old, Luhan, the only child of her father's older brother would always come to her house and play with her and they naturally grew close to each other. Because, Luhan is an only child, he cares for Semi deeply and kept her as his biological sister. It was until 2007, Luhan had to leave to Seoul for a trip and coincidentally, he was casted and passed an audition. Semi was happy for him but then she was so upset that she won't be able to see him anymore to the point she would sometimes cry to sleep silently.

In 2008, at the age of 13, she realizes her dream and passions for dancing and since then she was determined to follow Luhan's footsteps. At the age of 15, in 2010, Semi gained her parent's permission after almost getting kick out of the house if it wasn't for Luhan's promises to take care of her and be her guardians, Semi eventually left for Seoul. But, auditioning wasn't easy. She chose to go for the smaller entertainment rather than the big one but no one really want her. Luhan would often encourage her and cheers her on and would often bring her with him to the training room.

It was then when SM's secretary noticed the growth, passion and talent in her and they decided to give her a trial time where as, if she continues to make progress, she'll have to do an audition before officially become SM's trainee but if she fail to do so in 2 months, she will have to leave the company immediately without a chance to audition. But, things never go smoothly as a fangirl's fairytales. Every trainees turned their backs on her and would purposedly gossip about her right in her face, saying how she got in because she has connection and how she wouldn't talk much because someone got her back. During those time of training, she never really get to meet Luhan as he was getting ready for his debut and she thought that was the toughest part of her life where she has no one to depend on, not even a single person.

A year after Luhan debuts, she would always see him with a gloomy expression and how he always goes to hospital. Luhan eventually bring himself to tell her that he's planning to terminate his contract but he never told her to give up. He encourages her to stay on and moves forward and that's when Semi knew she has to depend on herself from now on. The company eventually came up with the decision to not let the public know that Luhan and Semi are cousin. But, they never lose contact and always watch out for one another.

MOTHER — Zhao Jiejing // 35 // Housewife // Supportive - Protective - Trustworthy - Caring  // Semi and her mom loves each other dearly. Her mother would support her at every decisions even though there might be time where she disagree but she never use violence or raise her voice. She always keep her calm and postures and calmly telling Semi what is right and what isn't as she leaves the rest for her daughter to decide on her own, afterall it's her daughter's life and she always make sure to give her a chance to decide her own life. Ms. Zhao is a great cook which explains how Semi got those skill from.

FATHER — Han Jinxieng // 45 // Doctor // Strict - Responsible - Intelligent - Straightforward  // Because her father is a doctor, Semi and her father isn't as close as she is with her mother because he'd always be busy with his schedules at the hospitals with the patient but that doesn't mean they don't love each other. Semi's father is a very strict man, one that treasure studying and books more than anything which explains how Semi almost got ground for earning 5 out of 100 points during her History exam. It'd be a lie to say he's not mad when Semi told him she wants to become an idol, but with her mother's help and Luhan's help, he eventually gives in to his daughter.

SISTER — Han Sejieng // 25 // College Student // Caring - Supportive - Bubbly // To Semi, her older sister is the precious person to her. She always took Semi's side and protected her and would even gave up on her classes when Semi got into some troubles so that she would help her out before it broke to their parents and got Semi into a bigger trouble. Even after all those beating and scolding, she never once complaint and only asked to make sure Semi is fine which is now Semi is trying her best to be the same person to her back.

COUSIN — Luhan // 25 // Celebrity // Protective - Supportive - Caring - Attentive // To Semi, Luhan is another precious perseon in her life. He took after her like she's his biological sister and she was very thankful for that. Even when he has to go back and forth from oversea, he would always take a few moment to check on Semi to make sure she's adapting well to her environment. They're so close to the point someone could actually mistaken them as a couple if they didn't know the fact that these two are cousin and there are several time the people at the company mistaken them about that.

Not even them. The only thing Semi remembered was that she bumped into Jessica and Krystal while she's walking with Luhan in the company hallway, she just somewhat got introduced to Krystal and they have became so close since then. Krystal kept Semi as her another sister, sharing all of her secrets and things that are stressing out about or getting upset about. Semi would do the same thing, sometimes they would even hang out together when Krystal has no schedule and successfully asked permission to let Semi off from the training for an hour or two so they could eat together.

THE COWARD OPPA / BEST FRIEND — Kim Sunggyu // 26 // Idol, Infinite // Responsible - Trustworthy - Bright - Protective // Semi went to the coffee shop that Luhan and Xiumin recommended and as she grabs her chocolate frappe, someone just have to bump into her making her drop her bag and fortunately, didn't spill her drinks. They met often at the coffee shop and eventually befriend each other and before they even know it, they shared a best friend friendship. He's really trustworthy and protective and he's willing to listen to all of her trouble, someone who Semi can depends on if Luhan is not in the country. But then, Semi has this thought that she's the one taking care of him instead of the other way around because every time they went to the amusement park and got on rides, he'd be screaming louder than her and have a mental breakdown after every rides and swore to never go there with Semi again but then again, always find himself being dragged by the demon.

THE EATING BEST FRIEND / BEST FRIEND — Kim Minseok // 25 // Idol, EXO-M // Mature - Trustworthy - Responsible - Soft heart - Brotherly // It's obvious they got to know each other through Luhan. Since Semi is Luhan's cousin and Luhan would blabber about her a lot to Xiumin, they naturally grew close to each other. Well, something did connected to them both. Their love for eating. Semi would sometimes went over to EXO's dorm and teach Xiumin a few recipes that he likes. If Luhan is away oversea, he would make sure Semi is safe and adapting to her new environment well instead of Luhan. He's not the type to say much but when Semi is in trouble and needs someone to console her, he's always willing to listen. To Semi, he's like another special brother who is always there for her after Sunggyu and Luhan.

CHILDHOOD FRIEND — Xiao Shixiang // 20 // Fashion Designer // Sweet - Bubbly - Calm - Passionate // Shinxiang is Semi's friend since she was 5 years old. Semi was happy for her that her dream of becoming a fashion deisgner is coming true and what's even special is that she's a successful fashion designer. Every time Semi came to Beijing for a few days when they gave her a day off from her training, she would come running to Semi's house and packed her wardrobe with her designs even though Semi refused to take it. She's someone who is sweet and bubbly and well-spoken in every occassion and sometimes Semi how did the become friends when they're like the total opposite of each other. She may be a short-tempered but if you solve things out well, her temper isn't that bad. Overall, she's someone Semi can trusted for her lifetime.

SUNBAE - VOCAL & DANCE MENTOR — Kwon BoA // 29 // Idol // Strict - Perfectionist - Strong - Confident - Workaholic // BoA is basically Semi's inspiration and role model. Even though she sees her almost everyday because she's her mentor, she's still amazed at the aura BoA gave out as soon as she walked into the room. Having her role model teaching her is one of the best moment in Semi's life even though she got scold a lot by BoA during her vocal class because she would always make mistake at pitch. But, Semi still thanks her for all of those harsh scolding and criticizing which help her overcome most of her obstacle. Even though she's strict during their classes, BoA still treat Semi kindly as if she's her sister. She would sometimes buy her food and listen to her problem as her mentor and as her senior so that she could give some advices for Semi to overcome those feelings.

SUNBAE - SPEECH MENTOR — Dong Ji-hyun // 35 // Host // Strict - Well-spoken - Scary  // Dong Jihyun is one stict mentor Semi had ever seen. Their relationship is that of a mentor and a student well, Semi is too scared to approach her after their class. She often get scold a lot by Dong Jihyun because she couldn't pronoun some vocabularies well and would sometimes stutter out of nervousness. Dong Jihyun once tutored APink during the time APink News was broadcasted and Semi never thought she would be tasting her wrath by herself even though she did show some progress after each class.

TRAINEE LIFE — Becoming a trainee wasn't easy for Semi, because she's only 15 when she began as SM's official trainee and she had to attend school which is obviously in Korea. When she first started out, Semi couldn't speak a single word in Korean and she often get bullied for that, both at school and by the other trainees. She would hear all sorts of gossip from the other trainees about how she has an attitude because she didn't talk to them, how she got in because of Luhan and how she befriend idols for her future benefits. Training wasn't hard for her but the people there are making it hard for it.

PRE-DEBUT EXPERIENCES —
- Semi once has to replace an actress who was supposed to film for the commercial CF with Krystal but she couldn't make it and the director saw Semi who went to watched Krystal to learn. Krystal introduced Semi to the director, he eventually asked Semi to replaced the actress since she came with no make-up on which match the concept of the CF.

- Once slipped from the stairs during her trainee days because she stepped on a biscuit packet that someone threw away and injured her waist for a few weeks.

- Had to go through a 3-hours-lecture because she got caught eating cheese kimbap with Luhan.

Could this former memeber of EXO be dating someone right now? // Not true, SM eventually reveal the fact that Luhan and Semi are cousins.

- Controversy // Rookie Girl Group's VOX's member Han Semi was under fire for her seemingly cold attitude during their very first radio appearance where as she didn't say much during the show and with a controversial picture of her rolling her eyes at her members. // Not true, SM explains that Semi is just shy since it's their very first talking program and being the awkward type she is, she thought a lot on what to say or what to not. And, about the rolling eyes, she was just playing around with her members.

KIM JONGIN

personality — Jongin is that one child who has the looks of a 20 years old, mental of a 5 years and speech of a 50 years old wise man. He can be very quiet at times but if he felt close to you, prepare yourself for that oh-so-funny jokes that he's the one to create and to laugh at it by himself. Despite that quiet-attitude of his, he still try to silently protect you from any troubles and he would silently land you a hand. He's that one person who treasures his work and is a huge perfectionist and a workaholic. He's insanely passionate and talented that you could tell what he wants to express through each steps he danced it out. Despite that mysterious aura of Kai, you will be able to witness a glimpse of an adorable, fluffy and sweet Kim Jongin who loves his older sisters and his dogs more than anything else. You could say, he's just like the male version of Semi. 

relationship — Jongin and Semi obviously knew other through Luhan. They weren't close at first and Semi has no intention to even befriend him because he always has that face poker face for the whole week she visited. But as Semi visited EXO's dorm often, Jongin eventually decides to talk to her first and introduce himself after seeing how she doesn't look like she's that cold when she talked to s. They eventually grew a bit closer to each other after finding out how they're just like the opposite version of each other and hang out like best friend which of course make Luhan jealous and whiny as Semi didn't hang out with him often anymore.

history — They once bump into each other at the mall but Jongin was covered up so that he won't get caught by the fans and caused a troublesome crowd which affects the other parties. He didn't even bother apology properly as he was at rush, he could only mutter a quiet sorry before walking off quickly. Semi thought he was some rude person out there but then realize he's Jongin from that figure and fashion but since they haven't even introduce themelves to each other properly during that time, Semi just shook it off which was why she has no intention to befriend him at all when they met for the first time but as time pass, she eventually find herself developing this crush on him.

PERSONALITY — She's that sweet, all-rounded artist who of course has good manner and attitude. She can be very friendly and has that blubbly and fluffy side of hers that make everyone want to befriend her naturally. She's quite the hardworking person she is and with that talent of hers, she is considered as one amazing solo artist. 

RELATIONSHIP — Juniel and Semi are friend but aren't as close as Semi is with her other best friends and friends. Well, they didn't meet often and only meet on some occasion and that explains how Semi doesn't feel really close to her but Juniel probably felt the other way around. Juniel would tell her everything, including how she has this crush on Jongin too and that's when Semi thought she should just give up on Jongin because she wouldn't want to ruin that friendship with Juniel.

HISTORY — Juniel and Semi first met during music festival when Juniel came down from performing and Semi was up to perform and they bump into each other a few time because of theri promotion schedules and they eventually befriend each other, of course with Juniel approaching Semi first.

OTHER — Semi didn't tell anyone about her crush on Jongin and she showed a completely no sign or evidences on liking him in public which no one of course doesn't realize. Juniel thought Semi was just that close friend who is like a sister to Jongin and so she told Semi about her crush on Jongin and asked Semi to help her get together with Jongin which Semi later tried to avoid Jongin to calm down her feeling for him and tried to help Juniel and Jongin but later on, she couldn't do so and she just silently crushing on him while having to deal with Juniel hitting on Jongin by times directly in front of her eyes. 

YOON BOMI

PERSONALITY — Bomi's just that one friend with bubbly and bright personality, one that always has positive thought inside them. She's that funny friend that can make you laugh whenever you're upset and that one friend who would chose foods over you because food helps you survive. She's that one type that turns serious in a split second when it comes to work. You could tell she's the one who live happily and spreading happy virus all along as soon as you see her.

RELATIONSHIP — They are so close just like sister and sister, sometimes they would share a playful love-hate relationship and sometimes a sisterly relationship. If you asked them who their rivals would be, they would chose each others and laugh it off because afterall, it's not a serious rivalry relationship. They would compete over silly things such as who slurp noodles the loudest and end up choking like one another. Sometime, they would talk with each other with that alien language that only both of them understand and everyone else would think they're stupid, well they really are. They would sometimes went to eat together and steal each other's foods and fight childishly and later reunion with a plate of dish, eating together.

HISTORY — Bomi and Semi happens to study at the same school and Bomi is Semi's senior. They befriend each other since then because Semi would always quietly sit alone at school and Bomi decides to approach her and they later became close as Bomi tries her best to teach Semi some useful Korean words and Semi would teach her Mandarin back.
