Welcome to the third (2.5th) post of this craft series! HAHAHA! Anyway, I'm back with the WIP of my runestone key chain charm :3

The unfinished version

Ehe, mine pales in comparison but I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. I went through a lot of frustration with my dry and crumbly polymer clay. So, after soaking it in mineral oil and then storing it in 20 degrees celsius, it turned out soft and sticky. I had to take away the excess oil so I wrapped it in cardboard. It was still sticky after two days. This time, I rubbed baby powder in it and tada! I was able to HOLD it, without the clay leaving a sticky mess in my hands ^-^

For the horizontal lines, I used the metal ruler. And for the individual characters or Khuzdul runes, I used my chisel tip :D Then I punched a hole with my needle tool. 

Now... let's hope I don't burn this in the oven toaster. 

What’s next? Another notebook, definitely. I got permission from an artist (irrel) in our fandom (one of the best, really) to print her fanart for free. Yay! More Kiliel, too!… One with amralime in it or polymer clay Kili and Tauriel chibis (The whole company!). And I have left-over craft foam, so… we'll see...
