The Feeling of Seeing Pope Francis I

Because I'm a Filipino and because I live in the Philippines (specifically, in Metro Manila), when I heard the news that the pope will be visiting the Philippines, I was very excited and because I'm a Catholic, I think it's really a blessing for the Catholic Filipinos.

As a Catholic, I am really curious on what's the feeling of seeing the pope and because the Church had a new leader and a new current successor of St. Peter, the 266th pope in the world, I just want to see what the feeling is when you see him and see the pope live. And I got what I was waiting to happen and what I was wanting to see. I felt the feeling of seeing the pope.... unexplainable. It's like seeing God before you.

Pope Francis I is the first pope that I've ever seen in my whole entire life, live. Now I know the feeling of seeing the pope. Too much happiness that will make your eyes tear up while seeing the pope mobile pass by and seeing the pope waving his hand to the people around him. Long live the Catholic Church!!

Despit the many people and despite many obstacles we've faced today, God gave us a miracle and gave us a chance to see His messenger to the Catholic people, the pope.

Praise God! Dear Lord, we pray for the pope's safety and may the pope deliver Your message to each one of us who believe in You.

I never consider myself as a very religious person but I believe in God and I believe that God has sent another mesenger that will bring bring His message to His people and help the ones who are seeking help from the God. The pope is an instrument of Him.

I kept praying to God, that He will help us be a witness of welcoming the pope and while my me, my mother and my brother were riding the jeepney, on the way to Taft ave., I prayed the rosary, I kept praying the God will give us the chance to see the new leader of the Catholic Church. I pray the five mysteries of the Holy Rosary and pray one more Our Father, three more Hail Marys and one more Glory Be.

I would like to thank McDonald's for letting the people go inside just to see the pope. Now I know why people are so eager to see the pope.

We Welcome You Pope Francis!! Welcome to the Philippines! May you have a safe stay and may God be with you always.

Today has been the most wonderful day of my life. Out of all the wonderful days that I've had, today is the most blessed.

The feeling of climbing on top of the table of McDonald's just to see Pope Francis. We love you Lolo Kiko!
