⟪ PERSONALITY ⟫ Mei is a shy,antisocial character whose only sweet and open to the ones close to her.She's really kind and loving to the other members,cooking fo them when Jinlei,their manager isn't there to cook for them.She's the one to do all the chores whil nobody helps her.She's the secret leader,the one that the leader goes to. She doesn't talk much afraid to contribute to awkwardness.Mei likes to keep her information private,so many people don't know much anything about her.She's not clingy to anyone,as she hates skinship.
Mei is also brutally honest and often sleepy.She is stubborn and gulllible which often leads to the prankster of the dorm always pranking her and telling her lies.Because Mei is brutally honest,she would tell anything from her mind which causes her to be a bit blunt.Mei is really calm and serene,hardly getting angry and only when something drastic and chaotic happens.Also because she gets tired easily,she's really hard to wake up only to wake up when she smells something is burning as one of the members attempt to cook toast.

- Cooking / Despite often their manager cooks for them , Mei loves cooking for herself and the others ,so she often cooks and it's actually quite good.

- Tea / She can't stands coffee and prefers tea.

- Anime and Manga / She loves watching anime especially anime a that are humorous like Ouran and No Game No Life.

- Bears / Not the scary bears but the cute animated ones.

- Instant Ramen / She honestly doesn't like it and also because the other members would eat it in front of her instead of eating her cooking

- Saesangs / Mei finds it annoying how they would stalk everybody and because they tried to stalk her as nobody knew much about.

⟪ BACKGROUND ⟫ Xu Mei was born in Qingdao,China on Valentine's Day in 1995.She was an only child because of China's one child policy. Mei wasn't known as Mei in her family but rather Hua and her family loved quite a lot as they only had her.She was a really shy child,hiding between her parents legs when they tried to make her friends with the other children.When she was four she attended martial arts so she could self-defend herself.However she took a break after twisting her ankle.Often when someone would try to talk to her she would immediately kick them and run  away.When she was seven,she did chores to relieve her parents pain and began doing chores immediately and enjoying it.  It was in middle school,she developed her love of music and wanted to pursue a career in the music department,her parents allowed her to do so because they wanted the best for her.So when she was in the 11th grade she auditioned for SM in the global audition in Shanghai and made it in.She was really shocked and cried to her parents because she would never be able to finish her education in China but in Korea and they would never see her again.So her parents agreed to fly with her to Korean as she learnt to speak the language.

⟪ TRIVIA ⟫ 
- Mei was born left-handed but her parents tied her left hand so she could use her right hand as left handers were said to be bad luck.
-Mei has no piercings,tattoos,scars and will never dye her hair.
- Mei is really good at cleaning and cleans the other members mess.
- Is allergic to grass and she gets a huge rash when with contact with it.
- She can't cook that many korean foods but a lot of western foods and chinese foods.
-Her favourite soloist is Zhang Li Yin and is a fan of f(x).
-Mei doesn't eat that much because she has slow metabolism so she has to exercise a lot.
-Mei is really good at wushu learning for 12 years and keeps her stick in her room to hit any intruders and anyone who annoys her.

⟪ TRAINEE LIFE⟫ ll

Mei trained for three years in Korea.It was quite hard for her because  she didn't undestand Korean that well.She accidentally called Krystal noona' not understanding korean honourifics.

After graduating and taking extra classes for Korean.She still needs a bit of help in korean though,she realised her vocal potential in the practice room and decided to practice more with her vocals instead of her raps and dances.
