So I heard all these rumors about Taeyang's Eyes Nose Lips song being plagiarized by some other artist. I did some research and it seems like things are getting pretty out of hand. I decided to do some research and organize/analyze the whole plagarism situation...

So, A song called 'Change Me' by a guy named Derrick Bullock was up on iTunes on August 12th of 2014. The thing was, everything from the melody, the background sound, the beat, even the little sound effects that the VIPs love were basically copied, pasted and renamed without any consent from Taeyang or YG.

(The Youtube version was deleted, but you can still hear the intro on iTunes...this guy makes money off of plagiarism!!)

The mightly VIPs who found it out started to post comments on his iTunes review page saying that this was illegal etc.

There was nothing this Derrick Guy could say as an excuse because the dates said it all. Taeyang's Eyes Nose Lips were out on June 3rd and the song Change Me was out of August 12th; two months after the original sound track. Now, up until here, everything was clear, but then...

Before deleting the video, the Change Me singer countered against the furious VIPs claiming that the copyright was his because he wrote this song FOUR YEARS AGO. Can you believe this guy?

Because the one who plagiarized claimed that Taeyang was the one who commited the crime, things got messy. YG had to step in to investigate. this morning, the offical representitive announced that they would look closely into the situation and deal with it in the most professional manner. Well...

REALLY??????? Derrick Bullock, suddenly having an epiphany that he was in a load of trouble, backed out saying that he just wrote a new set of lyrics forTaeyang's sound track. He probably just realized how big of an influence YG was not only in Asia but majorly around the globe.

So yeah. That came to a rather sketchy end. Anyway, I'm definitely supporting Taeyang because I'm a true VIP but even if I wasn't Taeyang's fan, I would still have no choice but to be on our sun's side because honestly, this Change Me song . Like this guy thinks that adding ohhs, ahhs and bad audio filters is musical talent. Seriously, it hurted my ears listening to it. I mean, he could've put more effort into it at least. It was like basically an audio version of Instagram gone bad because those audible filters were the tiest filters I've ever heard. I'm sorry, I'm not usually this mean when it comes to rating music but seriously dude, you gotta step it up if you wanna go against Taeyang. No wonder people who aren't even Taeyang's fans are throwing shades at you.
