Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?

I wrote a lot more. I have sort of lost my muse for writing in general so I was impressed when I came up with Monochrome. The prompt came from a friend who said she had read a really good fanfiction which was basically about people being colour-blind until they meet their soul mate. (and if their soul mate dies, they become colour blind again) 

Did you take any writing risks this year?

What even is a writing risk? I wrote for a different ship if that counts?

My best story of this year:

I really like Monochrome. The idea is just different and everything “fits together” in a sense.

 

My most popular story of this year:

The Thief. To be honest, I read back on it now and I am just like *cringe*

 

Story of mine most under-appreciated by the universe, in my opinion:

I got a bit of criticism for Somewhere in the Grey, which made me a little upset because it took me two full days to write it. But I guess that isn’t particularly under-appreciated.

 

Most fun story to write:

Monochrome. I just had to do it. My friend listened to me going on about it a lot as I wrote it haha!

 

Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters:

I always see the characters as the same… So not really.

 

Story with the single iest moment:

The Thief? I don’t really write y times hahahahaa

 

Hardest story to write:

They’ll never know one shots. I think it is because although there was freedom with working on it, because there was a sort of “minimum word count” it made me stress out and I often struggled with putting words down. But then not long afterwards, I write 14K for Monochrome xD

 

Biggest disappointment:

The prince and I. I still haven’t written anything for it. I just haven’t had the time or the motivation to write it.

 

Biggest surprise:

Monochrome. Words just came out. xD

 

Most unintentionally telling story:

Monochrome. A lot went on in that story haha. Everything had to fit together, and somehow it worked. xD

Letter to the past.

This is based off an article that I came across in the Guardian. I read it and cried. It was so emotional. I don’t want to give too much away, but basically Kyuhyun was jailed by the police for having done something, which he didn’t do. So now he has lost his voice because what is the point in having a voice if no one listens?
