However, she fell into a state of coma afterwards. Before the surgery, she made L promise that in the event she falls into a coma, the former would let her die. Now, L is torn between two options: to honor the promise he made to his beloved wife, knowing that doing so would make him lose the love of his life or to choose to be selfish and wait until Krystal wakes up.
