APPEARANCE: Hwa In has an oval shaped face, with a pair of slanted brown eyes and a rather small lips and a slightly pointy chin. Her face itself doesn't appear friendly since she a smile doesn't really suit her sharp eyes. She doesn't have any piercings. Her nose isn't too sharp-edged either, but it'd appear ery nice when she put her sunglasses on. She has a brown-colored birthmark on her neck to her underside chin. Her natural hair was a slick, long black hair but she often dye it in a lighter colour. For make up, she rarely experimenting on it. She prefers smokey eyes or just a standard cat eye look.
FASHION: She likes to dress up in the most comfortable way possible. She likes to wear sneakers, t-shirt, shorts, and leather jacket or flanel shirt. She loves to match everything with her leather jacket she bought with her first wage. She prefers monochromatic colours instead of bright colours. She also love to wear sunglasses, her favorite type of sunglass is aviator, she collects various kind of aviators.

Hwa In is multi-dimentional kind of girl. She can appear so cheerful and friendly and exactly seconds afterward, she became quiet and appear somewhat lonely because she often think that she's not part of the group. She has lots of friends but she always having trouble to befriend a stranger. She is expressive, as she always let out every emotion off her, when she think it's funny, she'd laugh without even thinking about manner, and when she's angry, she'd blurt it out, even yelling if she feels like she need to.
She doesn't like talking about her family or her life story, simply because she thinks that it doesn't matter for people to know. Sometime she feels like wanting to talk about it with someone, but she's just afraid that even that one person wouldn't care either. So rather than try to tell her friends something that Hwa In herself really need to talk about, she'd be joking around. Telling people funny stuffs, tell unimportant stories (and she make it sounds funnier), and putting on a mask as the world's most carefree person
And Hwa In naturally likes to take care of other people. Her father always taught her to always do good things to anyone so she did. But she doesn't literally always help others, though. She knows and set the boundaries for it. But being a good person doesn't mean she is an angel. When she hold of grudge toward someone, she'd always think bad about that person and it'll always show in her expression. She can have bad thoughts and likes to hope for the worst to that one person. She would also reflect it with the way she talk to that person.
As a girl who's raised in a decent family with 3 siblings, her parents sometime failed to fulfill their duties to pay off the school fee, their debt, etc, so their parents often fight because of it. And so, Hwa In grew up thinking that money is practically everything. If her family was rich, she'd never have to hear her parents yelling at each other ever again. So she always put 'Finance security' on top of her life goal and do anything to reach it, even if she have to work her bones off.

Hwa In grew up in a decent family as the second child with 3 other siblings. Her father and her mother are bound together by the string, but they often fight a lot though. Sometimes, even the smallest thing sets them on fire and they'd yell at each other, even in front of their kids. That makes Hwa In sometime cry in her sleep, hearing cuss words from both side and knowing that she can't make it stop.
So that's pretty much make her think that Red String of Fate doesn't guarantee her a happy ending, thus she never take it seriously and she's trying to be the best as she could as a woman, so when the time has come to meet her soul mate, she'd make sure that she would be the best partner she could be for her future soul mate. She doesn't want to end up like her parents.

» Hwa In is much closer to her father than her mother. Hwa In likes to hear her father's preach about kindness and kama and any other life lesson that her father usually told to other people. And her father always taught her every single good thing to do.
But the hot-headed side of him always make Hwa In terrified, even more when he's fighting with her mother. He'd yelling out bad words and blaming her mother even if he's the wrong one. But when he's telling Hwa In the problem from his point of view, Hwa In will realize that he's not 100% wrong either and she'd slightly forgive her father.

» Hwa In is not that close to her mother, that's because her mother used to like being with her other siblings than her. She likes to buy stuffs for her older brother and cuddle up with her 2 younger siblings. But that doesn't mean she isn't paying any attention to Hwa In. She still likes to take her to get a massage or else.
Her extravagant lifestyle sometimes sickening Hwa In. They aren't rich, but her mother keep buying unnecessary stuff. And when Hwa In remind her not to buy those things, she'd get angry and told her to shut up. Her mother also would be angry if her husband scolds her. And that would resulting a huge fight where her mother would think that her father blaming it all to her (which is true, but she never wants to admit it). And when she told Hwa In the problem from her point of view, she sometimes believe that her mother is not 100% at fault too.
LIFESTYLE: Hwa In currently lives alone in an apartment in Seoul. She lives in a lot more comfortable situation. She manage to have job that pay her more than well.
PAST RELATIONSHIPS: She never really got into a relationship, though many men are chasing after her. Her paranoid self always think that love would always end up bad. But she never close herself though, she's always open with the idea of having boyfriend and so, but she only never have the guts to begin a relationship.

» Ji Roo is a friend of Hwa In since high school. They used to hang out a lot. They often told funny story and bash each other if one of them made a horribly dry jokes. They don't always talk to each other when they meet. They'd go silent and nothing would feel strange due to their understanding towards each other. They both like to disscuss any topic, which sometimes led to differentiation.
THOUGHTS ON THE RED STRING OF FATE: Hwa In knows that the red string of fate is connected to her soul mate, but she'd get paranoid and always thinking that she would also end up like her parents, so she doesn't take it seriously.

Kang Jun is a hard-working perfectionist. He'd make sure that everything he does is done perfectly well and satisfying. But he's surprisingly calm despite living a hectic life. He enjoy meeting new people and having fun 24/7. He also likes to goof around his friends even when things are tough, he'd rarely show it. But if he's mad, he doesn't hesitated to spark an argument or even a fight.
Kang Jun is not so sensitive about feelings. He'd rarely know if he's hurt someone, unless you tell him so. But if he knew that he's hurting you (even in a smallest way), he'd apologize over and over again. He is also an absent-minded kind of person. You'd usually catch him looking at nothing, as if he never think of anything. But if he's care about a certain person (a girlfriend for example) he'd be very caring and supportive towards her. He'd do romantic stuff and do whatever to tell the world that she's his.
RELATIONSHIP: Being a cartoonist means you won't get any sleep for the next 36 hours. And that's exactly what happened to Kang Jun. Whenever he's having a rough day, he'd spend his time at a cafe near his house to get some refreshing vibe from it. He'd spend hours just to stare at nothing (he definitely an absent-minded person). One night, when he's sitting on the same spot he's beet sitting on for idk how long, Hwa In-who just got the job- notice something strange about this man. There is a red string stretching out from his pinky and it connect to hers but decided not to interrupt his deep thought.
A week later, Kang Jun still is the loyal customer on Hwa In's cafe and Hwa In grow even more curious about this man. She'd be the one who deliver his order, she'd try to have a pep talk with him, and basically do anything to get his attention which end up none. Hwa In simply can't take it anymore. So one day, she approached him on his usual seat and just inform him that there is a red string on his and her pinky, which mean they are destined to be together. Kang Jun finally realized and the athmosphere became awkward. So they both decided that they should have a proper meet up and get to know each other first.
