there are many things that hana considers herself: an egoist, a liar, a playgirl, sometimes she even refers to herself as evil, though her always try to convince her otherwise. a good person is possibly the only thing the delusional, regarding her infallibility, female would not use to describe herself as. secrets litter a cluttered mind, never choosing to reveal them to anyone, simply out of an obsessive need for self-preservation. no matter how far or fast a person runs, their past will always find them. hana knows that better than most. her movement are practivally nomadic, preferring to stay on the road, rather than allowing her roots to settle. despite all these hidden dark qualities, the natural flirt gets along easily with others, due to a large volumes of varying charms. even when she’s feeling down in the dumps, she appears as nothing more than perfect teeth and joy to others, seemingly allergic to small talk, such as ‘how are you?’, for no reason than she’s never actually sure how she really feels, not that she would ever say even if she suddenly became aware. furukawa hana is broken, and many have tried to fix her, but she is never sure whether she wishes to be fixed or not.

 
furukawa hana get attached to things, people, places, feelings - you name it, way too easy and always crumbling down when what she once knew is no more. so she tried to play it cool. hana is basically too insecure for her own good at the moment, something which she tries to cover up. other than that, she is quiet serene, she doesn't have too much temper and she hasn't learned to show it either. She likes to make others believe they know her in reality, she never tells anything serious about herself to literally anyone besides her family and - maybe - best friends. hana loathes when people lie to her thus she tries her best to avoid doing that herself; however when she's in bad mood and someone ask her if she's okay, she just can't tell them the truth. hana has a built not too thick, but not too indestructible shell around herself which she's not willing to let destroy by anyone who worth to do it. The only person that she can open up to is her closest person. the confidence that she potrays infront of people is, in other words nothing but a facade. a facade she is fighting with claws and teeth to protect because the last thing she wants people to know is how fragile she is.
 
most of the time, hana usually prefers to stay out of the main situation, keeping a calm, serene expression in the face and a warmth aura surrounding her, and there are times where she may even seem distant, with her head in another world, but, as everyone, there’s a whole world behind furukawa hana, as her personality goes beyond from what you can see at first glance. to begin with, hana is a very thoughtful person who has a tendency to turn inward or dive into deep thoughts even in the most simple situations, to fantasizing, and, regularly, to take several seconds before answering a question. on the other hand, in a more relaxed level, hana is friendly, loyal and even a prankster around those who have her confidence, making of her a pleasant person to be with either to eat in silence, to cry in sad moments or to share secrets.
 
hana is a pure girl. never once people heard she talks in informal speech as she respects other people very well especially the elders. she likes to smile so, it doesn't weird to not see her with a frown face and help other people. hana act like a mature girl despite not being the oldest. she will think very carefully if she makes decision. she doesn't like to be talkative nor quiet person. she's sometimes will be shy; she isn't good at putting her thoughts into words and she certainly isn't good at putting her words into action. that's why when she speak what's in her mind, sometimes her words can hurt somebody without her even knowing. in other words, hana is a plain and simple girl. she simply enjoys making others happy. she loves to be around people and if they likes her, she likes to make them laugh and enjoy themselves. beside, she's carefree too. she gets along with everyone she meets. hana have the best aegyo ever but being a shy girl, she rarely do it infront of people. another words that describe hana perfectly is naive. she easy to believe in people and also easy to get hurt. yet she keep forgive and forget that people mistake.

 
she has problems of her own, however. when she’s working, she will automatically turns to perfectionist. when they're having practice or training, she wants everything to be perfect and tends to push herself to be one. she sometimes tend to be escapist when she's alone. she likes to be in other world to avoid thinking of those hardships. she's someone who is clingy to some people so when that someone turn her/his back from her, she's can be really emotional. and she will keep thinking about it. gullible. she's really easy to believe in people words which will be the bad for her in the end. especially rumor or fake news. she will quickly ask it without beating around the bush. no matter, it is bad or good. beside that, she's really doesn't know how to choose. if she was given to choose something, she will only shrugged. same thing when she's going out with her friends which will always make her friends annoyed. hana is someone who can keep secrets well but if you urged her to, she will quickly tell you. one more thing about hana is that, she's easily get jealous especially if that someone is belong to her. but instead of mad like other people do, she will act like she didn't care but continue to ask which is somewhat obvious in that people eyes.

 

furukawa hana, the only daughter of furukawa's family which consisting her parents, her three older brother and her. her parents were both japanese and moved to vancouver after married. her father is a lawyer while her mother is a doctor. because of their busyness, they spent less time with her and that leaves her alone with her older brothers. being an only girl as well as the youngest, she was pampered too much by her brothers. not only that, they are being too protective towards her and acted like parents to her. they know all her secrets as well as what she wants to be in the future. hana originally had always wanted to be singer after she watched super junior's sorry sorry performance on youtube. after that, she got interested more in k-pop and learn more about it as well as a bit of their language through music. however because of her mother who wants her to be doctor, she had to forget her original dreams. 

not long after that, her aunts who lived in japan came to canada to visit her family. because of hana closeness to her auntie, she brought her aunts travel around the canada. between that, she told her aunts about her dreams to be singer and how she suddenly wants to be one. all of a sudden, her aunts suggests to go to south korea to audition at there. her parents agreed to let them go with the reason of going to vacation since it's school holiday. after arriving at south korea, they rest for a few days and then start strolling around seoul to search for entertainment building. and the first company that she spotted is yg entertainment. however she was told that yge didn't hold any audition. her aunts insisted for them to see her talents first but the staff keeps told her not until yang hyunsuk passed the lobby and accidentally saw her. he went to her and asked what's happening. the staff explained to him and then, he suddenly said to let hana audition which surprised both of them. her aunts and her were brought to the practice room which leaves both of them with yang hyunsuk. hana shows her skills which brought satisfaction to yang hyunsuk. hana gives her phone number and was told that he will informed her soon. 

after returning to canada, hana feels guilty and decided to tell her parents, but her aunts insisted it. however suddenly she received a text from yge, told that she was accepted but instead of her, her mother was the first one to read the text which angers her mother. hana, accompanied by her aunts explained the real reason why she went to south korea. her mother got more mad and tell her that she will have no future if she becomes a singer. her aunts deny that and end up fighting with her mother. hana tried to stop the fights, but she was pushed away. her father however only stay quiet and watched her wife and her sister in law fighting. her aunts finalised it by saying that hana will go to south korea as soon as possible. but her mother still mad that she didn't even send her to airports. however just after two weeks training in yge, her mother had passed away due to chronic stress because thinking of her. she suddenly feels regret and decided to drop out from training but her older brother as well as her auntie told her to continue her dream which she complied but the guilty feels in her heart never leave. not only that, she was also isolated by her father and her mother family, saying that she was the murderer of her mother. whenever she come home for vacation, her father never once come home and sleeps at hotel to avoids her. since then, she only contacts with her older brother instead of her father.

naomi is hana's best friend from canada. like hana, naomi parents also japanese and moved to canada after married. hana first met with naomi when both of them entered elementary school together. they first become seatmates and now become bestfriend. both of them always go out together every weekend to have girls day. because the lack of parents love, naomi willingly shares her parents love with hana as she's the only child. she always sleep over at naomi's house when her parents not at home. naomi gives her strength the most when her mother passed away. she never runs away and stay beside her even until hana moved to south korea. they still contacted in each other and naomi also sometimes went to korea to visits her.

he gives off a very mysterious feel on camera. he tends to be very quiet, reserved, and stand-offish. hanbin seems very sweet and kind-hearted. it's just his image that is very mysterious. he's the type where once you get to know him, he'll go all crazy on you and show you his weird side. hanbin works hard in order to get what he wants. it seems that he is very introverted at some times. hanbin is also a soft-spoken, quiet guy; slow to snap but quick to react. if he’s not aimlessly wandering around, he’s probably just silently sticking to your side wherever you go. with this demeanor, he’s a person that does not speak unless spoken to, and always follows orders with no complaints. when hanbin speaks, he has a habit of sounding quite rude, witty, and straightforward, but his expressions and actions usually give away his real emotions. despite this, hanbin is a guy that is quick to learn and is a good listener. he smiles when he’s being yelled at, or he simply returns someone’s smile politely, but he was never the type of person to actually respond to someone verbally.

 

after a long time be friends, hanbin and hana get along really well. both of them didn't have to argue about, except when hanbin starts to . hanbin will until her annoyed which at the end, they will get back because hana can't stay mad at hanbin. unlike her other friends, hanbin will call her by hanachan instead of hanako because it shows his endearment to her and hana will call him by hanbinnie, well mr. binnie if she's in teasing mode. both of them also openly mention each other in twitters as well as shows like 'hanbin is a babo. he can't do anything', 'hanachan, your korean is really bad', 'if hananchan was here, she will nagged at me' and so on. since they had been close friends, they had already use to skinship even in the same shows, she will touch him. they still keep that interaction which fans/netizens always mistook them as couple. however, both of them deny, insising that they are just best friends.
