Thus, they were considerably better off than most Koreans and she had the access to money. Mama Ryu was also obsessed in dressing this chubby baby n the best of the best. Overall, she was born into a great background which would only get better as the demand for plastic surgery rose with the standards of the average Korean. They expected their lovely child to be a model, TV host or anything where she could show off her pretty face.
When Seonhye hit age 11, her father decided he wanted to expand his clinic to areas where they needed prettier faces. Gangnam was becoming a dead end for them, so they decided on Incheon (hours away). Seonhye wasn't too happy to leave her fancy condo, but soon didn't mind the nice house they found in Incheon.
When Seonhye became 16, her mother decided that she wanted to be a Korean Air flight attendant, so she started to see less of her daily. She didn't mind, because it meant freedom to do what she wants.
At age 19, however, Seonhye was told that she would need to become self-sufficient in order to take care of her own parents when they were old and wrinkly. So she was moved out into an apartment, and began an education in Fashion Design.
