when reviewers gave advice 'you should read more fanfics' to authors as a way to improve their writing, i kind of want to cry and run away from this world.
Hahaha well take it this way, maybe they suggested fanfics instead of books cause it's in a similar field of writing. For example, you probably wouldn't compare a novel to an autobiography. It's all books but the genre is different. Just my opinion lol
