Style: He is more of the cool, city guy that you would see. He would often look very sophisticated -even though their personallity may not be- (♥) these he would usually wear even in casual days. If he's being really chill and just wants to go outside for the air he would probably wear something simple. Lastly practice, he wouldn't be that over dramatical, the reason for that is not because he doesn't want to look fancy, but he doesn't want to ruin his clothes by dancing/sweating, he can ocassionaly be clumsy at times especially while practicing, that is maybe until he goes full try-hard mode.  Jaemin has a personallity somewhat to a flirty-bum. He loves to tease other girls and even guys also, they are just usually not serious and shouldn't be taken seriously, but from watching him who knows if he is or not, the only person who would know is him, if he meant it. (this isn't confusing right? I'm sorry my mind is like blanking out, has been for 2 days e.e) and not only is he flirty, but waaaay to over-confindent, especially when he's singing, he feels and likes to immitate a sunbae pretty often, usually Teen Top's Chunji since they both can reach really high notes, but instead of Jaemin doing it properly he'll add a few voice cracks here and there to be funny (i'm not hating Chunji, hes my derpy in Teen Top okok xD). He might be flirty, but that doesn't mean anything since the only person he loves, would probably be himself, even in dorms or when ever he's changing he usually compliments himself infront of the mirror, anytime where a compliment can be added by him for himself, he would usually say outloud, making some people look at him funny. Even when he was first scouted he remembers that he was coming out from the changeroom and complimenting himself on how good he looks wearing a t-shirt, and the scouter, Naera cringed from behind him, which he saw from the mirror. As being an oldie grandpa he is very noisy and naggy most of the time, precision is key for him, and if something messes up he would be yelling so loud that you can probably hear him 3 doors down.

 

 Even though he has many negative traits, he also does have some positive ones. He knows when to be serious or not, and when the time comes, he can be really carng and take an 180 degree twist to his personallity, although this only happened a few times in his life, usually he would just be caring to the person and listen to their thoughts and problems. Also known as a clown, he likes pulling pranks, jokes, puns, you name it, especially people he's close to he would add some riddles if he did something like hide one of their possessions. Honesty, for him is key. He may be a prankster but he's really honest talking to elders, and conflicts that may be really important to him that he wants to speak out. Not liking to give up on things, he is very persistent. He may not look like it but he has taken vocal lessons for a pretty long time since his dream to be a singer was since he was about 10 years old. There were days in his lessons that he didn't want to go since school was a real pain and took most of his time, but he was taught by his dad that if you try hard, you would achieve your dreams, he even still takes those simple words to heart.

Background:

 Jaemin's life was basically, pretty hectic. Having to deal with family's money situation because his parents had to take care both for him and Jaebom's school fee, and also Jaemin's vocal lessons. To make things all work out Jaeshin dropped out of high school in his first year, so he would only have one thing to focus on, and to pay for. Even though his mom disagreed, his dad still pushed him on and achieve the dream he wanted. His brother who also took a passion for singing and being on stage as a singer followed his footsteps and also took some lessons before Jaebom went to audition for JYP and leaving Jaeshin alone. 

 During his schoollife days, he had plenty of friends, he was known as the prankster group of the school, since they would group certain people into a group. It was a weird thing to do to them, since it's wrong to classify people, although he didn't mind. Even till this day that prankster group is still alive, even when they get together for a meet, theres always a guarentee that one of them would so something to be funny. Friends were a big deal to Jaeshin since not were they like his other family, but they also gave him happiness and being in a group where they respected him. Being in vocal lessons and ditching school, he would always have contact witht hem and hang out whenever he had free time.

 Vocal lessons to him was like a path of destiny since it suited him more than school, so then he moved to Seoul, where there was a school for people that were practicing to be singers. He made a few friends here, since he seemed abnormally quiet. He needed and wanted to keep a good reputation here, and that's what he needed. One of his friends was Lee Chanhee who is now a famous singer that undergoes by the stage name Chunji, the voice that raises heavens and earth. The 2 were like a derpy-duo there, whenever they hungout ofcourse not during lessons. Not only were the two of them the highest in their classes with the highest scores, they were also one of the most respected tryhards. 

 Moving to Seoul costed his parents alot, so he wanted to make them proud, being able to succeed. Not only did he start working at the late nights and going to school early, but he also left his apartment, and left it so someone else can rent it while he stayed at a park bench, so he can save up for money, that is of course until it was Winter, he may have loved the season but it's a really cold season so, he would try and get a cheap apartment and pay for it till the season ended. A few years later he had enough to save up and pay off his family for the ticket, getting an apartment because he had stopped going to lessons feeling that now it was enough for him in auditions. He had reached his full potential.

 After being scouted when he was shopping for a new dress shirt he was told to audition for Star Entertainment in 2 weeks which he did. He auditioned for Star Entertainment and got first out of the large population of auditioners, and was told to comeback for his next audition. He failed it, but he was given a chance to try again since they felt he has more potential if singing a different song, which he did a week later and got in. Which meant he had to quit his job and find one that would accept him during the morning. During he practices, not only does he practice on his singing but also dancing, which he thought was going to be his next passion since he also enjoyed it.

He made a few friends, but he seemed that they didn't really like him so he just styaed quiet and pretended that nothing was wrong and only focusing on his work.
