this song really...its meaning suddenly hit me. hard.

the understanding that life is something we have to go through alone...

realisation that i need to be independent and 'be mature' starting next year, else ill suffer, really hit home.

ive always been more of a follower than a leader, but now...listening to this song, it made me realise ive got to grow up. not be so dependent on others. we have to be strong, stand up for ourselves, because not everybody will be there for us.

life problems. responsibilities. they're scary, but those are the things that nobody can help us with.

also, it tells us to love ourselves more. its something that ive always have difficulty with, and im still struggling with it now. but what he sings is true: nobody will love us if we don't ever love ourselves first.

all in all, ive found this song to be really meaningful. the background music is comforting, and kellin's voice is just beautiful and heavenly. a great recommendation for anyone who comes across this blog :)
