Personality:

Her onscreen & offscreen personality doesn't really have much difference, some are toned down some are heightened up when onscreen though. Things that are toned down are her being quite selfish & her bad temper. Her selfishness though is not "the whole world is mine" no, it's "what's mine is mine, don't touch or take unless I give it to you or let you". She controls her facial expressions onscreen if someone does take what's hers without permission. Offscreen though, she'll just give you a face & take it back if she's close or friends with you. If shes not close or friends with you prepare for a sharp tongue & a sharp dagger death glare, like "who the hell are you to take my stuffs".

On to her bad temper, onscreen of course she controls it, she'll never lose her temper onscreen. Offscreen though, only when someone crosses her limit, which is actually very high no one has yet to cross her limit, she'll lose it. She's like a volcano. She bottles everything up then explodes once she reaches her limit which once again has never been crossed yet.

Moving on to what's heightened up, they are her being not much of a talker & her playfulness. She's a quiet girl. She doesn't talk much unless she needs to. She's a listener not a talker. But this needs to change as she's in a show & needs to keep the ratings high. So she tries to talk more onscreen. In groups she looks for opportunities to join in when she knows the topic they're talking about. Sometimes when she talks though she unintentionally brags.

On to her playfulness. She's originally quite playful. Her range of playful can go from childish playful to suggestive playful. Onscreen she tries her best to control her suggestive playfulness as this could give a bad impression on her when she does it on both guys & girls. Because with guys, she could come off as a & with girls she could come off as a lesbian. Which both images are not exactly welcomed. Her childish playfulness though, she can be a giant ball of fluff or a giant ball of annoying or a giant ball of energy or a giant ball of aegyo & so on, on command, just tell her or whenever she feels like it, she'll do it. Offscreen, her suggestive playful side only comes out when she's with close friends, if not then she'll control.

Other than those mentioned above, the following below would be pretty much the same on & off screen. She's a calm person but she can be very deadly if you make her mad or mess with her loved ones. She's very protective over her loved ones. She is also quite forgiving. She's a very caring girl. Quite motherly to be exact. She always takes care of the people close to her, she loves cooking for everyone & when they enjoy it & also makes sure you eat even if you don't feel like it because she worries about their health, she has her ways of making you eat. She also tends to be quite bossy when it come to chores or tasks, until everything is completed you wont be able to go along with your own stuffs. She also get jealous easily. If she sees someone close to her have fun with someone else without her she'll have this temporary hate for the other. even if she's friends with the other. She is the place where her friends tell their problems to, because she can be trusted & gives some advice if they want. 

She's very rational and thinks before doing, but sometimes she over thinks and it leads to her thinking about all the negative stuffs that might happen, then she'll get all paranoid and might need a knock on the head and someone to explain that there are good things that might happen too. She can also be very sarcastic either in a good way or a bad way. She can be quite witty & always wins if someone challenges her on a battle of wits. She can be a bit competitive as she's used to being in the top, so she gets a bit pissed off if someone is better than her, though she can accept if that person's skill really deserves it. Even if her friends are comfortable telling her their problems, she's not. She prefers to keep all her sufferings, pain & problems to herself. she's afraid of what they would think of her & that they would turn away from her. She wont even tell anyone including her family. So she just puts up a normal happy serious front to cover up her pain.

— folding up her legs when sitting on floor & chair, she cant stand not putting at least one leg up or off the ground
— does skinship, girls: hugs waist, guys: slings both arms around the neck & shoulders from behind.
— spinning her pen/pencil if she's holding one. Not the type of spinning using the pointer & middle fingers.  It's the type of spinning using the thumb & pointer finger. 
—  her lips every few minutes. Her lips get dry easily since she always forgets that you have to drink 8 glasses of water a day. Moreover, she hates putting lip balm because it feels weird & annoying. Same goes to lipstick & lipgloss.
— Showering before sleeping at night. Doesn't matter if its 10 pm, 12 am or even 4 am, she has to take a bath before sleeping or she cant sleep.
— listens to an album or a single, that the group she like just released, on loop until she gets bored of the whole thing or until another group releases a new album or single.
— wearing her watch on the left wrist & 3 to 4 hair bands on her right wrist. She has to wear both her watch & hair bands every time she goes out. She'll feel very uncomfortable if her wrists are bare, even if only one was bare she'll still feel uncomfortable. At home though without the watch is fine but the hair bands stays on her wrist. The only time her wrists are bare is when she's taking a bath or washing the dishes, other than that her wrists are occupied. Why hair bands, because if she ever need to tie her hair, which is always, she doesn't have to go looking around for one.
— wears the clothes again if they still don't smell, once it starts smelling or it got dirty then off to the washing machine it goes. She claims it's a waste of water, detergent & in doing this it saves the earth. (if you watch roommate s1, you know gayeon does it too)

— she'll start smiling out of nowhere when an embarrassing moment of her life suddenly pops up in her thoughts. This usually happens whenever she's just quietly sitting there in her own thoughts. So it might scare people because of the transition from blank straight serious face to smiling & laughing out of nowhere. Even her mom says she looks like a mad person because of the sudden transition when no one was even interacting with her & she wasn't even watching anything.

Background:
27 March 1993, Jaerin was born at 7:00 am. She has a normal family life. The strict but caring dad, the happy & loving mom, & the caring annoying baby brother & the partner in crime. She is the oldest & only daughter in the family. Her family was quite a smart family, people expected the children to have normal jobs, go in the medical field or follow their dad's work field.The family was also musically gifted. Both of their parents favorite hobby was singing. Ever since the kids were young, their dad would sing them to sleep. There was even a time where he had to go outstation for his work, so the parents decided to record him singing and their mom played it for them when it was time to sleep. This is also why Jaerin until now needs to listen to music to sleep, only now it doesn't have to be her dad's voice.Their mom watches the tv programs that has singing, music, or musicals while making kimchi or folding the clothes, the kids would sit in front of the tv too while helping out. During the weekends, if everyone is free, the whole family would have a small karaoke session at the house.
 
She became interested in instruments too after watching some videos she accidentally found. She liked drums the most, second was piano and third was guitar. To her drums are more fun than piano & guitar, but she has nothing against them, she still likes them, just not as much as drums. Her dad enrolled her in drum lessons and she was very diligent in attending them. She,like her brother, was a model student & got A's. She was loved music because since young she was surrounded by it. But she was serious about singing and music. She talked to her parents and she got the green light. She really liked singing, rapping and dancing. She followed where ever her friends, who were also serious about music, went when its about music. Whenever her friends joins the recitals, she joins too. When they go to auditions, she goes too. when her friends goes to the underground rap battle, she goes too. when her friends goes to dance battles, she goes too. Finally one day, she tried STAR Ent. She got in. Now she's an idol meber of Seuta at STAR Ent.

Trainee life:
She has quite a normal trainee life. She doesnt cause trouble. Didnt get bullied or bully as well. Though of course there are some girls that throw snide remarks once in a while but its not to the point of being bullied. She goes to practices 10 minutes earlier to warm up & leaves 10 minutes later after most of the trainees leave to cool down. She listens well to the trainers & takes their advices. She tries to improve her skills in hopes to get her talents noticed. She makes sure that she nails the notes as well as the choreography, nothing more nothing less. She tries to socialise with the other trainees sometimes but shes mostly with junghwan. She doesnt have problems with the trainers & neither do they. There were a couple of times where the vocal & dance trainer praised her skills.

Personality:
He is quite mature despite his looks, He can be serious at times when needed and is very reliable. but that doesn't mean he doesn't have fun, other times he can be very cheeky alongside his partner in crime, Chen. He is also neat and tidy, he likes to keep things in order, you may call it a minor OCD, but Jaerin has it too so there's no problem between them about that. He's very cute and he knows it too. He's actually quite fun to be with if you give him time to open up to you & if you let him.
He is also very determined and passionate about his life, family, friends, school and job. He's very sweet and caring towards those who are close with him. He is a quiet person, doesn't really talk much. Lastly he's very kind hearted and is like an older brother, he treats everyone like his siblings, this also means that he is quite protective over those he cares about. He has quite a temper when you mess with him or his loved ones.
 

How you met:
She came over to exo's dorm,this was before they debuted,and brought her cousin's 3 puppies as he said he missed them.During that time Kyungsoo,Sehun,Xiumin & Taemin were with him.Then her cousin introduced her to them.That's how they met.Then she just hung around for awhile, because well who would take the puppies back home after Jongin finished playing, he's not allowed to bring them to the dorm.She doesn't know how, but she ended up talking with Minseok and getting to know each other. 
 

Interactions:

Playing and joking around with each other. They're like siblings or maybe you could say boy/girl version of each other. Also his minor ocd partner. Sure they play and joke around with each other but they also have their bad days too. They sometimes have small fights that turn big because of their personalities and reasons they would not tell, both are short tempered and both are stubborn too, so saying sorry or admitting is abit hard for them even if they're best friends, mostly its because of the reasons why they got mad that they couldn't tell each other.
Back to the fights, they would ignore each other, longest would be 2 days, until someone breaks, its unpredictable who would break first, sometimes him, sometimes her, but after that they would be back to talking everyday as usual. They also kakao or line each other everyday, even for at least 2 minutes when he's very busy.
They couldnt really date in public since well, she might get killed by his fan girls & he's in a really popular group.But after Baekhyun, they're still deciding whether they should go public or not. So they usually just use technology & meet at music shows.
