Lack of Updates?

I rarely goes on AAF these days but usually, everytime I open the site, updates of my subscribed stories would be tons. Now, there are none. There are no updates from fellow VIP writers. Why? Don't people use AFF anymore? Has VIPs left AFF considering BigBang's lack of promotions for the year?

 

I know I shouldn't be the one to talk since I barely update anything at all. But this made me wondering, if VIPs are leaving this site, then why do I bother to update my story?

 

If the reason to update is to have a platform to let out my imagination, then no, I already know all of the endings and plots of all of my unfinished FF even before I wrote them.

 

So again, I ask, why the lack of updates for all of BigBang's FF? Does anyone has an answer? Or at least, a theory?

I still read...but I too fail to update...it is hypocritical of me I know...but I too have felt, well BLAH about it for some time now. While I still greatly enjoy reading BIGBANG fics, I haven't felt the drive or spark to write more of them or update my main story.

I am still reading your stuff...or would if you updated, but I have stopped prompting people and asking for updates when I haven't given my readers the same. So, yeah I don't comment as much which in turn makes other authors think no one is reading and the horrid cycle continues!

I voe to do a better job letting the authors of the stories I read know how much I enjoy and look foward to their work.

i guess you are right, i think a lot of people didn't used this AFF anymore, it including me but it doesn't meant i am not using this anymore, it just i felt i lost some of my subscribers as well, and its make me like don't have any spirit to continue the story if the author itself didn't get a lot of feedback. i have no idea actually but yeaah ~ that's what i felt :)
