Who Did Come to PASAR SENI ITB 23.11.14?

So, who did come to this event last Sunday?

Pasar Seni ITB (lit., ITB's Art Market) is an art fair hold by Fakultas Seni Rupa  Desain (FSRD)/Faculty of Fine Art and Design in my college, ITB (Institut Teknologi Bandung) every 4, 5, 6, or even 10 year (depends on situation). We could say that it IS a somewhat biggest university art fair in Indonesia---or perhaps South East Asia? People from around the country which had some interest in art must be know about this event and come here. There are even some visitor from other countries, such as Malaysia, Singapore, Europe, States, Australia, and so on. And here I'm so proud as Pasar Seni is always crowded by visitor so that we always called it as 'ocean of human' XDD and Bandung would be so crowded by people so it was no wonder if there were traffic jams here and there---it's better to walk on the city on weekend as our city is a somewhat a holiday place for people from other cities.

As I'm also an art & design student, I was once a committee of Pasar Seni ITB 10.10.10 four years ago~:"3 That's why, four years ago, I couldn't really enjoy the event as I had to do my own job. But for this year's event, I was just a visitor only, hoping that I could at least try some wahana/rubrics at this event :p But yet, I was sick since last Thursday that I could only go to my campus afternoon---after the rain stopped (and that's also the reason that I couldn't not be online lately) so that I didn't have much time to go to every corner of the event. Then I got to meet my younger brother who was helping at the event. A big thanks to him that I got a company that day :p Though, some people thought that I am his girlfriend for the nth time---oh, come on! ["( As my brother is somehow good-looking, some girls obviously looked at me with jealousy, geez) I'm so happy that I also could meet some friends of mine (who some of them had been graduated and rent a stall at the event as professional---I envy them somehow but feel proud of them as well :") ) also Ms. Elina, the owner of Studio 181, a ceramic studio, a place where I did internships for weeks and get so many stories about alumni of FSRD ITB, artists' and designers' experiences in Bandung, also Indonesia, I met some of my seniors (and obviously, juniors) as well---well this event is somehow always becoming a moment of reunion of art&design student XDD And sadly I didn't buy any official merchandise as the line was tooooo loooooong that I got tired of waiting and I somehow feel grateful that I didn't buy anything as I was currently saving up for my final project T^T (I'm so poor, really~~ final project is my wallet). Though in the end, I got my brother buying me a keychain instead :p

I was actually had a plan to meet up with my Eunji-stan fella, bluesjuice, but ended up we should cancel our plan as she got an accident about two weeks ago and had not fully healed yet. I feel sorry for her T^T Hope that she'll get well soon and we can meet up in another occasion.

So here I'm gonna share some pictures I got from the event, some are from Pasar Seni ITB 2014's official twitter, but the rests are mine~~

The Opening Performance (it was held on the street in front of our campus as the street was blocked for the event)

The Control Tower (I didn't ever get any chance to climb up the tower T^T Four years ago, I only managed to climb up some trees like a monkey, watching the crowd from above :p)

And here is the crowd....

Anyway, just a little trivia of my campus, the last picture is showing up a monument that we call as 'Friendzoned monument' as there is a quotes put on it, "Once friend, forever friend." XDD

A rubric called as "Kampung Intim/Intimate Village"

Performance ''Jam Manusia/Human Clock" that was performed every hour

Around Artist's Corner

My favorite installation was the T-Rex made of rusty zinc plates with the skeleton made of bamboos (sorry, they are so blurred, poor camera I have on my phone T^T):

(Yes, that's my bro in the corner~:p)

The main stage (what a not-so-good-place to take any picture or even watching as I'm just too small and was wedged inside the crowd) but damn the performances were so crazily amazing as all of the visitor sang along to the song that were some traditional song wrapped up in modern arrangement, thumbs up for the artists!

And this is the last and also my favorite picture I found on twitter, the picture of our proud and humble Major of Bandung with his wife, they look so romantic walking side by side under the rain~:")

Four years later or so, let it be me and my future spouse who'll have this kind of romantic scene in next Pasar Seni~*prays*

Again, who did come to Pasar Seni 2014? Perhaps we run to each other but didn't know each other yet? Kkkk~
