First, Thank you for reading (if you did) my story. ^o^)/

Hmm. A lot of people get confused about this story and keep asking about it so I decided to make a post about what the whole story is about. SPecifically about the mysterious character of Baekhyun. Uhmmmmm the last part (with tao and baek) should have been able to explain what happened but ah, it failed to do so.ㅠㅠ Anyway, a baekhyun from the present went back to the past to relive the last month(s) he had with Chanyeol so basically, there are two baekhyuns in the story.  The one from present and the one from the past(which is kind of the present in that timeline).

Allow me to categorize these two baekhyuns.

Present Baekhyun is from the current/present time. This is the baek on the first chapter who was drinking hot chocolate and was visited by a sullen-looking Kai. This is also the same Baekhyun from the chapter who was talking to Tao about going back "if it's what it'll take to see chanyeol again." This is the Baekhyun who was on Chapter 1 and 2. He was still in the present on those chapters. Chapter 3 is already the part where he had gone back to the past. There were two baekhyuns in chapter 3. PresentBaekhyun officially showed up, and takes over the story from the scene with him crying in chanyeol's arms in front of the giant's apartment gate.

Past Baekhyun is, obviously, from the past. But in the story, Past Baekhyun becomes the present Baekhyun because you see, present baekhyun goes back to the past and lives in PastBaekhyun's timeline.  This Baekhyun doesn't show up a lot in the story. He showed up on Chapter 3 (the classroom part with Yeol trolling Baek by whispering in his ear, making the smaller blush), the part where Kyungsoo receives a phone call from Baekhyun asking for his notes, and the store where he ignores yeol.This Baekhyun is also the one who was mentioned from Chapter9 (part5) onwards.

Present Baekhyun, afetr going back to the past, becomes FutureBaekhyun and PastBaekhyun becomes PresentBaekhyun. 

So the main timeline in the story is the past. The only present ones is the chapters 1 and 2 and the chapter 11 (with tao and baek). The PastBaek, of course, doesn't know that the present baek actually is making efforts to be closer to chanyeol because presentbaek knows that yeol is dying. Past baek continues to be the same indifferent baekhyun that he is towards chanyeol. 

So you see, there can be two conclusions from the ending.

1. It's a cycle. PresentBaek keeps experiencing Chanyeol's death and after that, he asks Tao to take him back. No one, except Chanyeol, not even Tao, knows about Baekhyun going back.

2. Baekhyun doesn't go back anymore after his first time travel because he PresentBaek(who went to the past) has already fixed things with Chanyeol and chanyeol had already confessed to him through the red notebook.
