When there's camera around her, she'll be shy and quiet. She thinks her face on camera is ugly. *Just her owns thought*. When the members act crazily while there's camera in front of them, she just sit quietly and do her own things such as listen to music, read comics and etc. This personality is same as Vixx's Leo. That's why the members called her as Leo female version. When the camera off, she back to her real personality that is funny and playful.
When she with her family, friends and 1 or 2 members, she acts as her real personality and feels comfortable to show her real self. She is really caring person. She cares about the members a lot. For example, if the member sick or injured, she'll take care of them until she recovered. She'll be so worried and can't stay still. Moreover, she can cooks, she'll cooks a porridge for her. If they have problems, just expressed to her and she ready to hear it Also, she is full of respectful too; if she met with senior idols, she'll bows about 5 seconds and shows a nice smile. She will speaks politely whether with oldest member or youngest member. She doesn't like to be rude because she thinks if she did bad to others, they'll do the same to her. She always think the future rather the past. Another personality that same as Leo is loving. When she saw a kid, baby or animal, she'll smiles cheerfully. She really loves baby, kid and animal. background » May was born on October 30, 1995 in Daegu, South Korea. Her family is consists of her parents and eldest brother. Her father worked as a doctor while her mother is a dance teacher. Her brother was a photographer. May was born with the talent of singing. Since her mother was a vocal teacher, she always went to the studio and practicing after back from school. There's no interesting story during she was a kid. She's like every ordinary kid that is naughty and stubborn. When she turned to 13, she was involved for rap. It happened when she listened to Eminem's song. She tried to follow and naturally did it.
At school, she was kind of known by everyone since she was an intelligent student. She was the hope of the school. At the age of 14, she met V and became friend with him since they in a same class. Although they're friends, they're not so close because V was shy around her since he likes May and vice versa. Everyone know that V is someone who is cheerful and hyperactive but he was awkward around May. Day by day, he tried to confess but he didn't make it. Two years later, he finally had the courage and decided to confess through phone call. But, he was so unlucky when the day he wanted to confess, it's rain so hard so May didn't picked up her phone due to the storm. He then gave up and keep his feeling by himself. One week later, May had to move to Seoul because her mother was transferred to Seoul Arts High School as a vocal teacher. Because of that, V and May seperated. V felt so sad and regretted for not telling her his true feeling towards May. After that, they have lost contact. May was transferred to Seoul Arts High School too. At the school, she met Apink's Namjoo and without they known, they became bestfriend. Actually, May greeted her first and Namjoo is funny and cheerful type of person, so they can get along together. There was an audition that held by random entertainments, so she decided to join. Then, she passed and got to be trainee under Woolim Entertainment. She became a trainee when she was 17. During she was a trainee. She has been through many obstacles. She likes to eat but when being a trainee, she rarely eat and have to eat followed the schedule. There was a time, she secretly eat at midnight without the trainer known. She always sick and had a fever about a week. She had to stop awhile from training and rest at hospital. She thinks that trainee life was really hard to her but at the same time, she felt very happy and had so much fun. It's about two years and half months, she be a trainee. At the age of 19, she was called to debut in Gem Unity since the CEO realized that she is suit in Gem Unity. She holds the main vocalist and rapper position.

At first, he will stay quiet and a several minutes later, he became a hyperactive person that nobody can't stop. Compared to his age, he's immature and can't be serious. It seems like he doesn't care what others think. When the members need his opinon, he always give a blank expression. He doesn't look around at his surroundings and says what he feels and thinks truthfully. Also, he asks before he does something. He's very detailed person.
love story » Actually, May was his first love. V has said that he has a one-sided love during the 'Rookie King(BTS)'. But, May didn't know that V liked her before. At school, they are just a friends. V was shy around her, that's why he didn't confessed to her. But one day, he tried to confess, it didn't work because he wanted to confess using phone and that time it was rain so May didn't picked up his called. Without his known, actually May like him too but she think maybe V likes another girl so she keep quiet and keep her feeling. After that, May had to move to Seoul with her family and since that day, they didn't contact to each other anymore. Why May like V? Because he has a personality that makes May attracted and she likes the way he smiles because it's really cute. Moreover, V is good-looking guy too, that was an extra. She didn't look a guys at their face but their personality and heart.
