If you would like someone to revise your story, I will gladly be a beta-reader for you. But I have some conditions that come with the territory.

1. The story is in English.

2. It has already been revised by you before it is asked of me to beta-read it.

3. It is properly written.

4. It belongs to you alone.

All you have to do is copy and paste the following note into the comment box, edit in your story URL, then post it.

From there, I will PM a code to the username that asked for my "great wisdom". Save that code and keep it hidden!

Notes:

The reason for number two is that when you read it over after you have written it, you will see some silly mistakes that you have missed. And by then, you would have decided whether or not you need a beta-reader.

The meaning behind number three: I will only beta-read a well written story. I will not consider a play-like story. I hate script. So if you have all the qualifications but this, I suggest you look elsewhere.

Number four: I will not tolerate someone asking me to beta-read for their friend. If they want it, they ask themselves.

And I am going to make this clear, I am only revising stories. I do not edit, I suggest changes that should be made. Key word; suggest. If that is not clear enough, then lets put this in simple terms. I read the story, find things to change or make better, tell you those things, and you either "take it or leave it." If you are still not understanding by now, then I don't know what to tell you.
