"Do you really want to mess with me?" Hye Rin is a really tough person. She is a strong person who will fight for what she believes in. It is a good thing to have her as your friend because if you are getting hurt or bullied by someone, she will kill them for you! She is very determined and would not let anything tear her down. She has a really tough image, the person you don't want to mess with. She always keeps on a poker face. She is a strong person who'd never let her weaknesses show. Only her strengths come out.
"I shove because I care." Hye Rin is an aggressive person. She is always hitting others either on accident or on purpose. She shoves people out of the way without even noticing it or when she tries to be nice and hugs people, she give them too hard of a hug and they'd almost die! No no, they'd just have a hard time breathing. Also, when she laughs a lot, she tends to slap others. Not on the face! But on their shoulders or back or arms. She hits others really hard and she doesn't even realized that she is hitting them. But when she dislikes you, you better run. Run far away.
"That dress totally makes you look like beyonce!" Hye Rin is a sarcastic person. She says things in a very contradicting voice and would hurt others without realizing it (sometimes). She sometimes uses sarcasm as a different way of approaching an insult. She doesn't insult someone head on but uses sarcasm as a different path. Sarcasm is a habit for her. She just doesn't stop being sarcastic and when she realizes that she is sarcastic, she'd quickly apologize but then end up being sarcastic a couple of minutes later.
"No! We are going to the mall! Not the library! Got it?" Hye Rin is a demanding person. She comes off really bossy, always demanding others what to do. She likes to be in charge and to make others do things her way. She likesfor things to go her way and when it doesn't she'll start throwing a tantrum on how and why her idea or place is a better idea.
"Let's go on an adventure!" She is a person who loves going on adventures and discovering new things. She gets super excited to try new things and to do activities. She isn't the person who likes to stay in all day. She likes to get out and do something even if it's just go outside for a walk, she'd still be very excited. She likes seeing new and different cultures and would always be the one who'd wake up first whenever they are somewhter new.
"I will always protect you guys!" She is a protective person! She doesn't want any harm to come to anyone she loves. Her friends, family, or fans. She wants to make sure everyone is safe and would do anything so that they are. She is always putting her safety and health after everyone else's. She is pretty much the father in the group. If anyone in the group is dating, she'd constantly ask them if he is a good guy. But when she finally gets to meet him, she'd tell him to talk to her privately. In the conversation, she'd ask him a bunch of questions and finally she ends off with, "If she gets hurt because of you, I WILL KILL YOU!"Then politely smiles and leaves.
"Live now, think tomorrow!" She likes to do crazy and dangerous things and wouldn't even think about going back. She is very courageous and isn't afraid to do anything (Unless it comes to gettin shots or anything to do with needles). She likes to live on the wild side and would do crazy stunts, not caring what others think of her.
"I'm just gonna look through your texts for a couple of minutes." Finally, Hye Rin is a very nosy gal. She is a curious person who just can't help but get into other people's buisness. She'll snoop through your phone and look at all of your text messages. Also, when she is curious about a conversation. She'd walk past that group a ton of times, back and forth and back and forth, just to hear their conversations and she'd sometimes blurt out things on accident. Also, whenever someone is out of the house, she'll go through their rooms and would search for things for no reason. She's just a nosy person!

BACKGROUND »
Hye Rin was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 23, 1993. She was born into an okay family. They weren't completely rich but they weren't poor either. Hye Rin grew up in the sports genre. She learned soccer at the age of 3 and stopped at 6. She learned how to play baseball at 7 but stopped at the age of 8. She also learned swimming at the age of 9 but stopped at 12. Sports really spoke to her and she only found an interest in sports. At the age of 12, her mom got a job offer in Seoul so they moved there. That year, when she moved to Korea, she discovered KPOP. At the age of 13, she was watching TV with her little sister and she saw these people dancing, singing, and rapping. She really admired the dancers and rappers though and thought that she should try it. At first she at both dancing and rapping. Her raps were slow and not powerful and her dancing skills were all the way at the bottom. She couldn't move her body the right way. But as time went by her raps were spot on and her dancing skills improved a lot. She started to become the best dancer in her dance class, always helping the dance instructors with the other dancers. She danced and rapped for a long time. One day, at the age of 17, she decided to post dance covers and did some rap covers. She posted the videos on youtube. One of the JYP reps noticed her videos and quickly emailed her asking her if she'd like to audition for JYP. She responded yes and auditioned a couple of weeks later. They told her that she made it and will start training.
TRAINING » She had a bit of a hard time as a trainee. Other trainees would bully her because she was only 17 and was already helping the dance instructors coach the other trainees. They'd talk behind her back or even send her hurtful letters. When she reported this, the reps quickly kicked the trainees out for their behavior and she finally felt weights lift off her shoulders. Her training was still hard though. The diet was hard. They could only eat a certain amount of food and Hye Rin would always get stomachaches every time. Also, the monthly evaluations were very stressful. The instructors, the managers, the CEO and etc, would go and watch everyone perform to see if they could actually make it or not. Also, if you messed up, you're likely screwed. She trained for 4 years under JYP Entertainment.
