A little more about the night...

First things first, the concert actually started on time!! Like usually when they say “Starts at 8” they mean 8:15 or 8:30 but no, like 8:01 the lights went out and they played a remix of “Go Crazy” (the djnure VS. Fingazz remix, I think, from the Grand edition of their CD) to get us riled up.

It was so. Freaking. Loud. My poor camera couldn’t even handle it, the sound in the recordings is all messed up.

They opened up with “Hot,” which surprised me, but it’s one of my favorite songs so I was happy. Then they did “Go Crazy” and “10 out of 10.” Then they did some more ballad-type songs which I don’t really know/never heard before, must have been off the new album. Taecyeon and Chansung sang “Please Come Back” (I think) and they ripped their shirts off towards the end—they were wearing silver jackets so we didn’t see everything, but the backup dancers were totally shirtless and WOW. WOW. Then they did their intros and it was so cute! Taecyeon did most of the talking, he and Nichkhun kept egging the other members on to speak English. Jun.K is really good, his accent is almost perfect. Soooo much happened in that intro, man it was wonderful.

Twice Nichkhun sang a bit of “Anaconda”.

They did a group performance of Wooyoung’s song “y Lady” and god I hope they release a studio version because it was fantastic.

Nichkhun and Junho sang a song called “Love is True” and Nichkhun was wearing a PINK JACKET and my sister even said to me “you know that pink jacket has Tiffany written all over it.” So anyway Nichkhun didn’t mention his girlfriend at all that night but damn it the whole stadium must have screamed her name at some point or another.

The second talk happened right after that so Khun and Junho were changing and Taec was talking about how they usually sing a song from whatever country they’re visiting and he said to a fan “No I’m not going to sing Anaconda” so when Nichkhun came on stage he did so singing “MY ANACONDA DON’T” and then Taec was like “Oh you want to sing it? 1-2-3—” Nichkhun—“No!”

Then before they sang “I’ll be back” they took a little break and Taecyeon said, “This isn’t actually a scheduled break but we’re getting tired…because we’re old” and the other members were like “We’re not old!” But then Nichkhun said, “No this was a planned break, we wanted to tell you that um…that, um…” and he was so hesitant that I thought ‘HOLY CRAP HE’S GOING TO TELL US THAT HE’S ENGAGED’ but no he didn’t he just said “We love you” and sang a bit of Anaconda again.

They kept teasing us by saying things like “We didn’t expect so many people would be here, we’re so glad because it means that maybe we can come back again soon, like for an American tour” and things like that. Ugh my heart!! I hope they do a JYP Nation tour, that would be amazing.

I really hoped they would sing “Back 2 U” but I didn’t have much hope since it’s an older song. They sang “Hands Up” and “Go Crazy” twice, in the beginning and the end, and both times it was like the venue got turned into a club, everyone was dancing and jumping around, it was crazy.

They didn’t have a translator, so Taecyeon translated where he felt it was needed, but you know it wasn’t like we didn’t get the gist of what they were saying. “Thank you for coming,” “I’m surprised so many people are here,” “I hope you’re having fun,” etc. My sister studies Korean and a few times she tried to tell me what they were saying, but even I knew that Chansung and Wooyoung especially were talking too fast for her to really pick up on exactly what they said.

After we got out of the stadium there were a bunch of guys selling T-Shirts, and normally I don’t pay attention to them because they’re rip-off shirts, but I actually got a look at them and stopped and was like “What. Those things look official!” like it was an older picture, but it even had the hangul for “Go Crazy” written on it, and then I saw the back of the shirt had the tour dates and cities and everything, and it was $20 so I got 2, one for me and one for my sister, and our friend who came with us also got one. It was weird, I didn’t think they were selling merchandise inside, everyone I met said there were no stands for shirts or light sticks or anything. Apparently there were also people selling posters but I didn’t see them and I was out of money anyway.

Since they weren’t selling light sticks almost nobody had them. We had some cheap ones that I bought online and they kept shorting out in the middle of songs, pieces of crap but hey that’s what you get for $6. Next time I’ll get the really fancy expensive ones.

And then we took the train back to the city, we sat in the station for like 20 minutes, and my parents picked us up and we got stuck in traffic, so the concert ended at 10:30 and we got home at like 1 AM. I’m so freaking tired.
